It works!!!
Total infestation of Gypsy/Spongy moths in my area. Rigged a lure inside a bug zapper and within two minutes, they were swarming!! Since they are just starting to leave their cocoons, I will leave this out for the next few weeks. I read a review for this product claiming that it worked for an hour. Not the case, it draws in all the male moths immediately within the area. As more transform from caterpillar to moth, they will be drawn in as well.

The real deal.
Our area was hit hard by gypsy moths this year. We did as much as we could to keep the caterpillars out of our trees but wanted to do something more proactive. We purchased 2 of these lures and set them up on each end of our property (1/2 acre). When the males finally made their debut they swarmed to both containers we had set up. There’s really no way to tell how many actually died but the number was easily in the hundreds. Will that make a dent in their population? Probably not with just us setting up the lures, but if everyone did it we could drastically cut down on their numbers.

Works great to capture the flying male moths
I used this as the lure to make a homemade trap from a clear juice bottle. Within a few minutes there was quite a swarm of male moths around the trap. I've had it out for 2 days- then had to empty it because the water in the bottom of the trap was FULL of dead moths. I'm impressed with how well it worked! I ordered 2 and only used 1 in the trap. They say to replace annually. I've hardly got any more moths flying around- so I may be able to just keep the other until next year. 100% recommend!

Only works for 24 hours
Worked really good at first with many male moths being aggressively drawn to the bait; however, the bait seems to lose effectiveness after only a day. There are still male gypsy moths everywhere, but they no longer seem attracted to the bait after only a day of having my traps out. Crazy that this product is advertised to last a year when it doesn’t even remain effective for a week. I have 4 traps out and all appear to have lost their effectiveness. Disappointed with this product.

Work well- but order before you need them
They do attract the male moths- but by the time I ordered them their peak was over. I was told the lures can be stored for at least a year in the freezer.

It Works but pricey shipping
When I got it in the mail, it wasn’t what I was expecting, but it actually works. I made my own trap out of a milk jug and I will probably have to empty it 24 hours later. I have to agree that the shipping is a little crazy though the shipping is as much as the product.

They work great!
I stored a leftover lure/trap in my garage 2 years ago which I totally forgot about. Last year in June I started to see the moths flying around in my garage and was like WTF. They led me to the year old trap. I set it up again outside and killed hundreds of them. Hopefully this year I'll notice a marked decline , but either way i'm setting traps again. I will not quit killing these disgusting vermin!!!!

Average expectations
Only one per package. It didn’t have the effect I had expected. I trapped some but not much.
