Kenmore He2 Plus Washer Water Pump Motor 8540028

Perfect replacement part for my Kenmore He2 Plus. Had been getting the dreaded F-21 and SUDS errors on and off for months. Switched to liquid detergent instead of pods, did smaller loads, but errors kept coming back. Then one day I realized the pump was making a weird, helpful noise and I knew it was broken. Cleared out the filter first, checked all the hoses for clogs but no go. The pump was dead. This was an exact replica of the dead pump and was easy as pie to install. The hardest part was getting the screws out of the front panel. Had a little trouble reattaching the clamps around the two hoses but finally found the right position with my pliers. My washer is working like new, purring like a kitten. So proud I did this myself. It saved me hundreds!

I was so happy to find this on Amazon. My washer was acting strange and the pump died for good on a Saturday morning. My husband was sick with the flu and I took matters into my own hands. He was already going to have to get the water out, I thought I would save him some trouble!I ordered this early enough on a Saturday that it shipped the same day! I got it on Monday and by then my husband was feeling well enough to install. My washer is on a pedestal so it was a little trickier but it didn't have to be taken off so we were both happy. The pump is an exact fit and was identical to the one he took out, minus the smell of a dying motor! It was in and we were up and running in about 15 minutes. My 8 year old washer lives to see another day!

Purchased on January 28, 2018. Today is November 9th, 2018 and it no longer pumps the water with enough force to clear the machine. Should have lasted longer.I'm a sucker. Bought another one of these units on November 8, 2018. Today is June 7th and that newer one is giving me problems. Wash cycles keep failing with an F21 code which pretty much means the pump is shot. I can hear it too. Makes noises that indicate it is failing like the previous one.

My washer decided to give up on me on Friday. So we opened it up and found out the motor was pretty worn. I found this aftermarket motor on Amazon and decided to get it since they had 2 day delivery. I just received it a few hours ago, and installed it. It was the best deal, and I’m glad I bought it!

My washer was getting the F-21 code without a clogged filter. After some research online I figured it was a bad pump. I called the local repair guy and got a quote of $350. I looked on Youtube and found a video that showed how to replace it. Then I went on Amazon and found this part. It took less than 20 minutes to change it out and it works perfectly! Yeah!-It was missing one of the rubber fastener things... but I took it off the old part.After less than 6 months the motor failed. Bumbed! I do not see a replacement warranty.

I had high hopes. I waited to write the review. Pumped died in washer, purchased this and with the help of you tube had it replaced in 20 min. Worked like a dream for three months and then started receiving drainage and suds codes. Just purchased a replacement for this one.

This product was exactly what I needed to replace waher pump. Unlike others I found on-line, this one was the entire pump and filter which made replacement very easy. The price was exceptional!

This helped repair our 8 year old Kenmore HE 2Plus! Exact fit and exactly as described. We have probably done 30 or so loads since replacing it and it works better than the original did in my opinion!!!
