I bought these with a coupon, total was less than $20. I train 8-12 hours per week. My first impression of these shin guards is that the material is soft, comfortable. And they are very comfortable. The velcro goes on the 'outside,' which I love because it does not bother/scratch my inside. Used it for sparring, the sizing is a little icky, I'm 5'4, size 8 shoes, sometimes it slides through my toes. And even though the material feels soft and comfortable, I doubt that this will last a long time. That being said, for the price and comfort, I'd recommend it.

Bought a L/XL, they are only like 12inches... this might be large for a child. Had to return as they don't provide adequate shin coverage lengthwise...

Good product just as I thought it would be.

I use this for karate, there’s not much protección in the feet area and they are too long so they bothered a lil on the knees at the beginning but I got use to it. They are great for the price in comparison with official competition gear and they actually stay in position better than the adidas I used to borrow from my dojo.
