Air dried to ensure minimal movement once installed | Pre-drilled holes, concealed shelf supports and fitting instructions included | Fast & free shipping | Comes fully finished ready to installation | Handmade to order PLEASE READ: Please be aware as oak is a natural product, each piece will vary with regards to cracks, knots, colour and grain. This adds to the character of the beam. Due to machining and sanding, beams are typically up to 1/2" smaller than the size stated. Some beams may have small areas of pin holing, which further adds to the effect, which will be treated with anti infestation solution. As your beam adjusts to room temperature further cracks may appear. This is nothing to worry about. None of the above can be treated as defects. SIZE: This beam is 6" high x 6" deep. Also available in other sizes including: 6"x4", 4.5"x4.5", 8"x4" and 6"x3". FIXINGS: Pre drilled holes are positioned in the back of the beam. Concealed Shelf Supports included. Suitable for masonry walls or stud walls where timber uprights can be located. Not suitable for fixing solely into plasterboard. Unfortunately we don't ship to The Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Island, Outer Hebrides or Shetland Islands.

Just what I wanted!!
Lovely piece of oak and really pleased with the end result. I’ve marked as 4 stars as we had to purchase additional fixtures and brackets as shown in the photo. This is due to the weight of the mantle. It is very heavy, and we felt that it needed additional support. Overall extremely pleased with this product. Great quality, delivery on time and looking forward to decorating for Christmas!!

Top quality
Searched around a bit for a quality beam for a mantle. Could not have picked any better. Excellent beam delivered quickly with all instructions and hardware for fitting.
