Works with workaround
The ink roller doesn't really ink the numbers well before impact, but I found a workaround by squeezing the trigger a few times about half-way (just enough to make the ink roller touch the numbers a few times), then squeeze to produce the label. I got into a habit of doing that before each label, and it works well that way. Build quality is decent, but was a great price and it works... so I can't complain

Get a higher priced Labeler and save the headache
Won't feed labels through accurately. Not easy to thread labels through to get a reel started.
