Does not add a taste to my well water!
I bought a filter, Aqua Crest Model # AQF-LT600P before that taste bad! This GOLDEN ICEPURE RWF1000A was a welcome change.We have great tasting water and drink a lot.So glad the new filter does not add a bad taste!

Lasted about 7 months with heavy use.
Bought this filter in January and it lasted til August. I just noticed the taste difference and filter light on. Has a great taste. A great buy. About to get more.

Excellent for fridge with icemaker!
I had to replace a filter that I just installed a few weeks ago because it was leaking. The gasket had a crack in it.I replaced it with this filter and the quality of the ice was immediately apparent.The Ice is much clearer and the taste is also much better.I am very impressed with the performance of this filter.Worth every penny of the cost.
