Be very careful when buying “warehouse”, as the new lids and containers have a different radius, which means the pre-2019 lids and containers are NOT compatible! I bought “this item” not realising it was an OLD container (and missing a lid) and had to track down an old lid on an auction site. NB the new lids are slimmer, with a thinner ridge around the top, and the lid edge tapers inwards and up. The OLD lids are thicker, with a bigger seal, straight sided edge with a thicker flat raised border to the top. **Q: Can you use these storage containers for leftovers? (Eg. Stew, casserole, etc.)** A: Yes, I don’t see why not. This one holds the standard packs found in most UK supermarkets. The lids Al terrific the push button requires very little force and lock and seals and unlocks the jar. This is so much easier than grappling with, clips or having to press hard around edges I have a number of these jars in a variety of sizes for variety of products. They seal effectively and keep the contents fresh.
