My daughter is very picky about how clothes feel on her and she loves these.

I rarely write reviews but since you all helped me I thought I’d contribute. I bought these for my tween daughter who is very self-conscious about all her changes. These panties have been great. I wish they had them when I was young! They are soft without being too bulky. They don’t make noise. The pattern is forgiving if you do stain. They are meant to be worn with some protection (pad, tampon etc) but they are prefect for sleeping (zero leaks and she is a big tosser and turner). Also they are good for wearing close to the day her period begins so there is no spotting while out at school. They don’t look or feel like some of the thicker versions on the market, so she doesn’t feel awkward. I’ve ordered these items twice.Sizing: we bought medium. She’s pretty much an XL (16) in most girl brands at Target/Justice. She’s on the big and tall side of the spectrum and these are a good fit: they are protective but not too tight. I’d go down to S if you have a skinny minny in the same size range.Washing: rinse and hand wash the stains, if any, before tossing in the machine. I let hers sun dry.

I want to start off that I bought these for my 38 year old self. After having hormonal IUD for 15+ years I forgot what it was like to have a period. Figured I'm trying natural family planning I am going to try a menstrual cup too. While I'm at it who knows when my cycles will return so I better pick up some period underwear too. Didn't want an embarrassing situation to occur at the office or out at brunch with the girls. I'm 5'8" about 120 pounds, size 0, as they are cotton blend and fitted for teens I chose a size medium and they are perfect. My cycle is kinda wonky so these have worked on spotting days and for my user error of the cup with no problem. Even had full on aunt flow out while running errands and no issues. They are cute and comfy. I don't own typical cotton granny panties so the other brands my husband would have known. He hasn't yet caught on that these cuties are my time of the month undies. Wish they came in more patterns and colors, still awesome and just ordered another pack.

I absolutely love these cotton period panties. My daughter is ten and started her period a couple months ago. She was very uncomfortable wearing her regular size12 panties with a pad even after several adjustments and wasting 1-2 pads trying to make her comfortable. Theses panties are a blessing because she and I had one less thing to worry about especially since we are both trying to get use to the changes her little ten year old body is going through. She weighs 81 lbs so I bought the XXS; however, I notice that they shrunk a little when I compared the washed ones to the newer ones. That’s a little disappointing ( bought 3 packs) since she’s starting to complain about the fit after a month. Thank God she is a twin so I will save them for the when the other twin starts her period.. omg..😳( she has a smaller frame her panty size is 10) **deep breaths** Anywho I just ordered the next size up since I absolutely love,love these panties. The crotch/seat of these panties are much wider than the regular, so the pads with the wings fit nicely plus the lined protection from leaks is great and the panties fit and look like any normal panty. This is a great investment , just buy a size up to accommodate a little shrinkage and your girl will be happy, comfortable and confident. Thank you

I bought these for my 11 year old who just started her period. She was going swimming but didn't want to wear a tampon, and everything I thought of trying would retain the water. I decided to try these for the heck of it. She wore them under her regular bathing suit and didn't have a single leak! She forgot she even had them on at all. When she took them off they were soaked with blood so I'm not sure how they didn't leak but they didn't! I didn't read the washing directions but I soaked them in cold water for an hour, washed them on cold, and air dried them and every speck of blood is gone. I'm really impressed with these and she's a lot more confident wearing these as a back up especially at school.

My 11 yo started her period last summer. She has very heavy periods and was ruining all of her underwear. I was at my wits end with constantly buying her new underwear and trying to get stains out of pants. I had heard about period underwear but the ones I was recommended were so expensive. I shopped around and these panties had great reviews. I bought a pack for my daughter to share and they have been a life saver! She wears them on her heaviest days with a pad and she never leaks through. She says they are as comfortable as regular underwear. When she is close to the end of her period, she will wear these undies with a pair of shorts to swim in. It has definitely helped ease my mind when she wears them to school knowing she won't be embarrassed throughout the day if she bleeds through her pad. Definitely a game changer!

None of these pa ties are leak proof…sorry but it’s true…I thought I would let my daughter try them out…she absolutely hates them because they didn’t do the job

I bought a pack of these for my 11 year old daughter. The first set was too small on her, and I missed the cutoff date for returning, so I will just save them for when my younger daughter gets older.Once I got the bigger size, they are great. So far they have prevented any leaks onto my daughter's pants. We both feel better knowing she has extra protection from embarrassing stains.I wash them in the washing machine but hang them to dry, as the protective material inside is a little bit plastic-y. Once in awhile I forget to hang and they go through the clothes dryer -- but that hasn't seemed to cause any problems. Also - I use a stain remover spray whenever they do get stains -- and they've always come out looking brand new!I ended up ordering another pack of 3, so that my daughter has 6.I only wish these things existed 25 years ago when I was her age!!
