My first denim motorcycle jean, purchased due to recent hot weather and feeling slightly exposed wearing normal jeans. My first impression out of the box, wow! a well made piece of kit. Not just normal jeans with seamed areas claiming to be Protection. The feel is quality, from the clearly excellently seaming to the logos and inner reinforced areas. As many reviewers have mentioned, sizing is perfect. I am between 34/36 and wanted a longer leg to ensure it covered boot whilst riding. The knee and hip protectors need to be inserted into the ready pockets on the inside. The hip is attached. The knee ‘protector sack’ is removable, making positioning the knee guard easier. It was a tight fit for mine, with heavy duty velcro to secure inside the knee of jean. The exact position can be placed higher or lower on the knee, due to longer Velcro strip inside.The fit of jean is extremely good, as mentioned slightly elastic about the waist, I need a belt to secure, but no drama as really didn’t want tight waist on bike. The material is high quality and feels easy wear from the word go, not stiff and alien.Riding on bike, nice, the ventilation zip on thigh reveals red inner lining, not only looking very cool provides nice cool air into leg. The knee protectors stay nicely in place whilst riding. I have a particularly hot running bike, the fans directing heat to inner thighs. The material is surprising resistant to heat, definitely not as hot to ride. Comfortable to wear off bike as they are on. Yes they are expensive when compared to many others on the market. I have heard of the company and did my homework before buying. They washed look, the comfort, quality of manufacture and the sense of security provided when riding a no brainer, worth every penny.
