50 4' Tubex Tree Shelters

I purchased these tree shelters as a recommendation from the DNR for tree planting. I compared Tubex to similar tree shelters out there. Tubex seemed to have the best reviews, longetivity, and a wider range of sizing. The tubex I ordered was received quickly, delivered by FedEx I believe. They were nicely packed in a white bag and arrived in great condition. The tubes are in packs of 5. Directions are enclosed The zipties are already attached to the tree shelters. A bonus was the netting to cover the tubes to prevent animals and birds from getting inside the tube. The tubes are lightweight, but sturdy, and are of a nice green color. After 3 days of planting, I finished, and was very impressed at how the tubes blended in with my landscaping. Loved the fact I didn't have to tie them down, and how easy it was to install them. I will purchase again when I plant more trees.

These tubes are not all the same diameter. Since they ship nested inside each other, they are 5 different sizes, larger on the outside, smaller on the inside. Plan for this when planting trees, if you have trees that need a wider tube, use the smaller tubes on trees that are narrower.I like that they come with the stretchy nets to put over the tube top to keep birds out. They also come with zip-ties pre-installed so all you need is a stake/rod to put through the ties.

to protect my small seedlings from the deer that live in my backyard, and prevent my husband from mowing them down.

Came as expected, the tubes are in good shape and shipping was fast. I will buy the same thing again when I need more tree tubes.

Works very well. Helps new seedlings grow rapidly upward.
