Secret Agent Jack Stalwart: Book 14: The Mission to Find Max: Egypt

We happened across the first book in this series at a second hand store and purchased it for our 8 year old son, who fell in love with this book about adventures. We have purchased the entire series for him as Christmas birthday and just because (he likes to read). He can’t wait to dive into another adventure with Secret agent Jack and is anxious to get to know his brother Max too. We would highly recommend this series to everyone! Happy reading!

My son started reading these towards the end of 1st grade. He was reading slightly above grade level. After he finished the Magic Tree House series, nothing else interested him again until he found this at the school book fair. I read the first book and thought it was perfect for him. The second book introduces a little more violence and possibly objectionable stuff (guns and the "bad guy" being a lady, with image of her drawn very bodacious, etc.). I wish she had kept it a little more tame, but that said, it isn't that bad. There's worse out there, and very shortly they are into those books anyway. I love that the main character travels all over the world and the kids learn something about various places. Reminds me of Magic Tree house in that respect.

My son is in first grade and has recently fallen in love with the Jack Stalwart books. These books have a super hero agent with lots of cool gadgets. He travels all over the globe. The stories are full of true, geographical information the reader about the areas that Jack travels to. We have started marking the places on our wall map and writing notes about the special things that happen there. These are great books!!!

The story appeals to my 9 year old grandson and he enjoys reading it.
