Las Dos Caras de Ana (The Two Sides of Ana - 723 minutes)Ana (Ana Layevska) is a lovely student actress; she does a scene with Gustavo (Rafael Amaya) and they strike sparks. She tells her mama about it that evening and is told it must be love. Ana, Mama, her brother Fabian and his girlfriend Marcia go on an outing. They have a flat tire and as Fabian is changing it, an expensive sports car hits him and breaks his back.The two wealthy young men in the sports car go on down the road and pretend they had been car-jacked. The driver was drunk and snorting cocaine to be sober enough to drive. His younger brother wants to go back and help their victim but he is accustomed to being bullied, so does nothing.Ana's family goes to the police because they know it was the two wealthy young men, so that evening, the older brother burns Mama and Marcia alive in the family home. (He thinks Ana is in the house.) Ana's wealthy employer thinks Ana and her brother are in danger, so she sends them to New York City for therapy and protection. Ama is swearing revenge when her crippled brother dies of an aneurysm.She goes back to Miami using Marcia's name (no one recognizes her?!) and sets about to discover all she can about the Bustamante family (she does NOT learn that Gustavo is also a Bustamante, she just knew him by his stage name because his father has disowned him for refusing to join the family shipping company).As Ana ingratiates her way into the family she reviles, she runs into Gustavo who for the two years she was gone, is involved with a woman named Irene. Of course we can tell instantly that Irene is evil, but it takes Gustavo two more discs to realize what a conniving wench she is!Remember, Gustavo knows our heroine as Ana, but she is going by Marcia now. Got that straight? Be SURE to suspend disbelief! This three-disc set is unpredictable, well acted and features an over-the-top villain who finally gets what's coming to him. I got this telenovela from Amazon and I'm glad I did.

Thought the editing was well done but the telenovela is somewhat hard to believe in that she leaves and comes back a few yrs later & nobody knows who she is just because she appears sophisticated & wearing nice clothes? Hard to swallow but that's a telenovela for you:-)

This was an excellent novela. I highly recommend it. Sometimes the editing was a bit off, it did not disturb the flow of the story .

Don't waste your money buying this mini-dramas where they get the idea to shrink the dramas to only 3 or 4 Discs this company is destroying the good work done by the Mexican actors.

Never written a review for anything I’ve bought on Amazon but this was so bad I had to say something. I can live with the fact that MANY scenes are edited out, but scratched DVDs is where I draw the line. Only the first dvd worked to the end. The other 2 didn’t even go past an hour before they stopped playing. Waste of money. Don’t do it!

I think this is nice telenovela. The main actress is so good and story also makes sense. I understand the story.

Compré está novela porque me gusta mucho. La decepción ha sido, que al verla una vez recibida, se vé que en cada cápitulo está la tercera parte cortada. Un cápitulo normal dura 40 minutos aproximadamente, y aquí cada cápitulo son 15 minutos.Sinceramente, cuando la compré pensaba que tendría completa, y ver que faltan muchisímas escenas, es Decepcionante....

wow - very touching story- made me cry throughout the movie . Ana you are wonderful and great actrice too and lovely. Should be more movies with Ana.All her movies are great too.
