Elodea Densa Aquarium Plants Oxygenating Plant 5-500 Strands (250)

After reading the reviews I was dubious of the quality to be expected from the seller. I ordered 3 items - 5 Strands of Elodea, 5 Java Ferns and 10g of Java Moss. The Java fern came as small plants, with a root base but only 2/3 leaves width. I can see how other customers perhaps were expecting fuller 'bushier' ferns but I was not - the roots and leaves all in tact and not damaged at all. The Elodea were in fact bigger than I was expecting so have had a little trim to fit in my tank. The Java moss was fine, I probably should have bought more but that's my fault not the sellers! All of the plants are happy and growing well in my tank with no sign of melting. Value for money is not too bad - surprisingly I have been unable to find Java Moss and Ferns at my last 3 trips to my local pet shop/ fish shop (I assumed they were pretty ordinary plants!) and so was happy to pay that bit extra for delivery etc. I'm not sure what the other reviewers were expecting but the order I received was completely as described and have no problems at all. Would definitely order again but I'm not sure I will need to - hopefully cuttings alone will keep me in plants for the foreseeable future!

I have been ordering Elodea Densa from Lincolnshire Pond Plants for a couple of years now. I buy 3X10 strands (get one free - only pay for 2x10). I have to say the quality is brilliant - far far better than my local pet shops can do even in the height of summer. I thought we might have a problem when crispa oxigenating pond weed was banned, but no, my greedy 12 year old terrapin loves this diet supplement just as much. Thank you LPP. Very happy

This plant has worked out great, left it in a clear container for 2 weeks before I was able to set up my aquarium and it did just fine. In fact each morning I would find the container packed with thousands of micro bubbles as this plant produces a lot of oxygen.Perfect for an aquarium in my opinion especially if it can help oxygenate the tank.Arrived nice and green and it seems to be a tough plant, this would be my first choice for an aquarium plant if your thinking about adding live plants.

The leaves turned brown in all but a couple of strands. I did contact the company and all I got a whole load of questions giving me the impression that they did not believe me even with the photographs. I have had aquariums for such a long time and know how to look after the plants. This was the first time I bought aquarium plants online, don't think I'll ever do it again.Reposting the review with additional comments as very upset that I have lost so many fish in both my tanks since i first introduced these plants. They started shedding leaves, turned brown and slimy. Took out all the plants, and fingers crossed my remaining fish survive. When asked for a refund, got nothing but attitude from the lady on the phone, saying nothing to do with their plants!!!! Obviously don't believe the customer!

Really good quality plant most iv bought in past have either died or plagued with common pest snails which are pain to get rid of but this was best by long shot no snails plant didnt die its still growing every strand (5) is healthy on arrival will if I need more buy from this seller again

I bought a 5 strand pack which arrived quickly, packaged in a letterbox friendly cardboard box. They came with instructions for how to place in the pond and a ceramic weight. The plants have a small amount of sponge wrapped around them at the base which when pushed into the ceramic ring holds them in place. I felt this was still a little insecure so I cut a strip off a washing up sponge and used that as well. The plants were small but healthy so I'm happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitant to buy pond plants from Lincolnshire Pond Plants Ltd again.

I bought these because they had ceramic vs lead weights. However, the small print which states that the weights are removed for posting also means they are not included in the package itself.Minor issue - I attached them to stones with rubber (not elastic) bands and dropped them in.Cannot comment on their growth as I have only just received them.

Was worrying weather they’d arrive at myHouse in good conditional and was worried that they’d die in the post as it’s been hot and I ordered in the summer was shocked.. the oxygen plants arrived safe & healthy as they should of great for small/medium aquariums very happy would recommend and would purchase again very happy

Plantes reçu 15 jours après la date indiquer, jaunies et pourries....normales, 3 semaines dans 1 enveloppe en plein mois d août aucune plantes vivantes ne résisteraient...J ai essayer de les ré planter ms elles ont finies de pourrir ds mon aquarium... Et ne sans sont jamais remises...Par contre, merci au vendeur qui a tout de suite reagi, en me remboursant.Mis 1 étoile car peut pas mettre moins, ms très décevant...Je ne recommande pas...
