A Rose for Pinkerton

Really like this book! The entire Pinkerton series is good, but this one about the Great Dane puppy, his mischievous ways and his new kitty friend that gets him into trouble is great!

One of my Favorite childhood books, now my daughter Loves it.

I love the Pinkerton books, as well as all of Steven Kellogg's books. So many children's books are just ho hum in storyline and illustration but these books are intricately illustrated, we always notice something new when we read them. And, they enjoyable enough that I don't tire of reading them over and over, as my children request

Beautiful illustrations, good story

Pinkerton is a favorite for another generation of our family. My girls loved these books when they were small and now I am purchasing for my grandchildren. Kellogg also did the artwork for some Mercer Meyer books that we love. We hope these books stay available for a long, long time.

Steven Kellogg's artistry and story teller do not disappoint. the funny antics and the creative detail of the pictures are a delight to young and old. These stories spawned my daughter's love affair with Great Danes. She now has 3 living at her house, including a newly acquired Harlequin like Pinkerton.

I gift this book to all of my friends at their baby showers or for kids early years birthday parties. I grew up on Steven Kellogg and I'm overjoyed that these books are back in print! Pinkerton is adorable and I loved pouring over all the line illustrations and sweet little details.

Oh m Gosh we love Pinkerton. The whole series is wonderful and good for laughs. Kellogg is a fun author
