Surftech Paddle Guard Tape
I've been out paddling about 10 times since putting on the tape. It is staying on and I don't really notice it in my stroke. I put it on a fiberglass paddle that has a little bit of a flat edge...the tape was very hard to get on. It is designed for application to a sharper edge. But it did barely go on. I like it.

Not Clear- Black and with a hefty price tag
Item is black, not clear as stated in description. It is also overpriced for what it is.

Size and length be AWARE.
The width of the blade must be narrow or "sharp" I tried to use this on a Werner Double Diamond and the blade has too wide (or blunt) of an edge. Also note THIS IS ONLY ENOUGH FOR ONE SINGLE BLADED paddle not two so it will not cover a kayak paddle on both ends. I have not used it to see how it improves durability against chipping since it doesn't fit my paddle.My opinion, this product is over priced for how much they give you. They should specify what size or type of blade it will fit along with how much actually comes in a pack.

Automotive trim at your local auto shop does the exact same thing and will run you under $10...

Guard fit perfect. Easy to apply, and easy to secure. Looks good. I recommend this product if you are unsure.
