I ordered two natural flea and tick collars that got great reviews even though I couldn't find the ingredients and manufacturer info on one and I couldn't find the manufacturer information on the other, this one. I was sure any missing information would be on the package, but I was wrong. This one gets 3 stars for at least listing ingredients, but it makes me very nervous not to have any information about the maker. I'd like to take a chance based on the great reviews, but I don't feel safe doing that. I'll probably return both collars.

UPDATE: merchant sent out card with product asking for a 5 star review in exchange for a free product. I gave an honest 5 star review, but have yet to receive the additional flea collar. I participate in these types of things often, but there are always a few who make a false claim in order to get in influx of 5 star reviews with no intention of sending the free item.I still stand by the the collar worked on my maltese to help reduce the scratching. She also takes a flea and tick prevention in pill form during the summer months. I personally did not find the smell offensive, but it is a strong smell that last a week or two.This has helped our maltese so much. The smell is not overwhelming either, which I appreciate. We leave it on her all the time and it does not affect her harness and collar.

This collar was inexpensive and did not smell bad or anything, however it didn't work on my German shepherd husky mix, wish it did :( considering it has high reviews

ThanksI left a review, an honest review because your product works immeasurably well. but you have not honored your offer of sending me a free collar.So, we have a collar for our dog that is just awesome and for some reason people are not very happy with it. That's too bad, but then we have some customer response issues on one side.I think the efficacy of the collar can lift any issues this company might be having with their customer response side any time.Keep them collar coming, my friend.

Flea collar that works. I bought this collar about a month ago still been skeptical if it was going to work. I always use frontline and advantage etc. They would only work for about a week and also to consider those chemicals are not so great for your dog long term. So I gave this collar a try and I gotta say this thing really works my dog has literally no fleas and he definitely not itching hardly since I got this collar. I own a 4 pound yorkie. I will also be buying this for my cat since I have gotten such good results. Please keep in mind that even though it's just essential oils some dogs can still have allergic reactions on their skin from the collar. I see other collars that have 5 or 8 essential oils in it. MORE isn't always better. Keep it simple.

Within an hour after putting this collar on my German Shepherd he started scratching at his neck. My thoughts were that he just needed to get use to the collar. The next day as we were taking a walk he started to act lethargic and drool. I immediately took off the collar and rushed his to the vet. The vet indicated that my dog was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. Within two days he had a horrible rash around his neck. After being put on medication and shots the rash continue throughout his fur to his tail for four weeks. I use natural products all the time for my dog but I failed to notice that this product is made in China.

These really do work! We live in a subtropical, coastal area in the Southeast US, and fleas are a fact of life - among many other bugs. THESE WORK! We were doubtful when we saw the packaging - they don’t look like much, and we had to cut them down significantly to fit our cats’ necks. And last year we had a HELLUVA flea problem that led to all kinds of rug flea powders and sprays and collars and pills, so we knew we needed a heavyweight product and a natural one, if possible. We couldn’t be happier with this product and plan to RE-up after 3-4 months just to be sure we don’t risk it!

I don't know if this collar is effective or not. The design was enough to make it unusable. It fastens like a zip tie and, once on the dog, can't be removed without cutting it . I always remove a flea collar before bathing the dog. You can't remove this one. I will be getting a different one for my dog. Lesson learned. As a side note, you get an offer for a free collar from their site. There are not clickable links on the site, so obviously bogus.
