Looks great, easy to apply
I was getting non stop rock chips on the front of my hood. Hopefully this will solve the problem. I also hopeIt doesn’t accumulate dirt underneath, especially since I got the smoke color one.Installation took about 20 minutes.Use the included alcohol and primer prep wipes before installation. Pull about 3” of backing off each of the VHB adhesive strips (there are several, make sure you get one end of each) and pull over the edge so they are accessible. I used the exposed couple inches in the center to help hold it while I lined it up. Not hard work, just make sure it’s straight. There’s no going back once you start the bond without removing all the adhesive strips and buying replacements. That would be very time consuming to get off the lexan.

Ram 2500 2016
I liked it but I didn't like the LED bar modified with small LEDs and it looks much better

Great fit, quality deflector, poor hardware
I purchased the AVS Bugflector II for the Ram 2500. I knew that the bugshield would need to be long to cover the wide hood on the 2500, but the factory box it ships in is overkill. It's HUGE. The box is at least 6' long, and probably 10" x 10" wide on each side. I expected it to be more of a long tube, but it's not.Either way, I removed the Bugflector from the box along with the hardware package. The "hardware" consists of 2 metals clips with screws, and 4 plastic screws with 4 plastic anchors. The instructions for the Ram 2500 require you to remove the rubber weather-stripping under the lip of the hood before installing the Bugflector. The 2 metal clips are then attached to the Bugflector, and using 3M clear tape to protect the hood, you position the Bugflector while the metal clips hold it where you place it.There are 4 existing holes under the hood of the Ram, and you insert the plastic anchors and screws into these holes. You are supposed to "screw" the screws into the anchors, but if you push to hard they will just seat all the way in without screwing them in. That doesn't give me much confidence as to their long-term durability; I'm not sure why they wouldn't just pop back out if the plastic threads aren't really holding. At least for the installation however they seem to be holding. I've had it out on the interstate a few times with no issues, so we'll see how the plastic hardware holds up long term. Otherwise the Bugflector II does not touch the paint of the Ram 2500 other than the 2 metal clips on the edges. The Bugflector II itself looks good and fits the contours of the truck perfectly. I expect it to last as long as you'd need it to.

* BUYER BEWARE * Awful Customer Support, Awful Product
To begin: I am very OCD about my truck. I took my time installing this product and it was installed 100% according to instructions. MANY NEGATIVES! Wish I had not installed this on my BRAND NEW truck... It looks awful now :(- Prep Wipes left a milky residue on the paint surface which never goes away.- Product installed as many have reviewed, off set by about 1.5mm on one side.- After less than 10,000 miles and 4 months of being installed, the double sided tape began to come unstuck from the hood. This allowed a section of the protector to flap around while driving, and having to pull over and attempt to "re-stick" it by cleaning the surface again and applying pressure.- Eventually while driving down the interstate, about a 2 foot long section snapped off completely.- The result is a awful looking 2 foot front section of hood which is worse off than if I had never installed this product.- Marred area where the protector repeatedly battered my hood.- Broke Protector on half the hood.- Milky residue on the paint. And finally, I have sent an email to AVS through there website, and through their "contact us" link. It has been over a week since I emailed them about this problem, and 2 days since I used the "contact us" link. I HAVE GOTTEN NO RESPONSE!!!!

Pros & Cons
Pros:1.) The adhesive stick-on light strip is very bright. (The deflector comes with a separate stick-on light strip with thin red&blk wires)2.) The deflector is vacuum formed black ABS plastic, not acrylic. Somewhat scratch resistant; however, I read a review that it can crack in half due to strong wind while driving.Cons:1.) The shape of the deflector doesn’t fit the shape of the hood perfectly. Double-sided foam tape is provided around the back edges of the deflector to mount it to the hood. The tape may or may not conform all edge of the deflector to the hood.2.) The deflector mounts directly to the paint surface of the hood. It does not wrap around the front edges of the hood like some other deflectors.3.) the wire coming from the light strip is visible where it bends around the edge of the hood to the underside. This is unsightly and not a professional install. The deflector should have wrapped around the front edge of the hood so the wire would not have been visible and to better follow the shape of the front hood edge.
