Q: How much will I be receiving if I order this?

1 yard of each print... if you order the 10 yard pack, you'll get 1 yard of 10 different elastics - flowers, holiday prints, chevrons, and other designs.

Q: Is 5/8" to thick for a masks around ears?

Yes, I think this would be too wide for ear loops on a mask. I used this elastic to make headbands to hold cochlear implant‘s for a 2 1/2-year-old toddler.

Q: Can the elastic be cut down the center on the fold creating 2 non-fraying pieces?

I've never tried that. Wouldn't want to take the chance in compromising the elastic.

Q: Can the elastic be used for making a doll skirt? Or is this the wrong kind for that?

Hi - this elastic is very soft and pliable, but it does not handle rough usage, nor does it 'snap back' as quickly as other elastics. If the doll skirt is handled with care and not taken on/off very much, then you should be fine. But if the doll will be given to a child to play with, you might want to use a stronger elastic.
