A Bit Of A Let Down.
Sold as suitable for the AKG WMS40 wireless musical instrument system. There was no sound output compared to the low grade AKG offering which was, as others have noted- noisy. Investigation revealed tip of 1/4" Neutrik was connected to a different pin in the mini balanced XLR connector when compared to the AKG effort. To add insult to injury, the connectors inside the mini XLR connector were assembled at different lengths inside the connector shell. This represents poor assembly technique, inaccurate wiring and lack of quality control. Had it worked as intended, it would still be considered as poor value for money because of the poor XLR connector assembly technique. Fabricated with reasonable looking cable and what looks like a Neutrik 1/4" jack plug, but there are plenty of fakes of those on the market...Disappointing, returned.
