8X Zoom Telescope Camera Lens Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy S3 Siii I9300

I went into this purchase fully expecting a flimsy, shoddily assembled, that will fall apart after one use. It did not disappoint.I'm headed to a concert this month and wanted to boost the lens zoom in hopes of taking a few decent photos with my Galaxy S3. After that, I don't expect it to ever be used again.The lens, when properly aligned is satisfactory. Between its adjustment knob and the phone's autofocus I was able to get reasonably clear, albeit a bit grainy photos. Putting the lens on the case is perilous. The mount is spot glued and i was afraid to force it. The catch is, you need to force it to fit it all the way into the slot so the lens lines up correctly. I haven't taken it off because I'm scared it will break.**BOTTOM LINE** It's not going to satisfy pro-photographers. You won't get hi-res pics. But for the price... I'd buy it again, and suspect I will eventually have to.

Of course I could've expecting too much compare to the price, but I really didn't like it.First of all, the holder is attached to the case with glue, which can be seen from both sides and mess up the look.Second, might be my problem, but among the lens holder is weak. One on the left side broke off as I first attempted to put the lens on.Third, when you take a picture, the edges come out black. And you also can see the light reflecting on the lens, unless you cover it with you hands.I gave three stars because it actually worked,can adjust the focus and it's packaging for its price.

It seems to work fine, once you have the lens attached to the case cover. And there lies the problem! It is extremely difficult to attach the lens and as difficult to detach it again. I fear that the case cover will break soon - the plastic has already white marks from the stress. But I cannot carry the phone with the lens on all the time; so, ... I won't use the lens as often as I had hoped to.

Inexpensive and plastic 8X lens for the Samsung SIII phone. Very thin plastic attachment for the lens to a clear plastic new back for the phone. Easily attaches to the phone but somewhat difficult to keep in focus and only a central image is present: it is almost like looking through a tube. For the money is was worth it but if you pay more than $10. keep your money.

i thought this would be something really cool--but i was wrong--when you try to take pictures it is like trying to look thru a tunnel and the pictures come out looking blurred no matter what--cant get it to zoom--and you cant use flash cause when you use flash that is all you see in picture is just the flash--i am just glad it did not cost that much--curiosity got the best of me--would not recommend this to any one--don't buy it

The zoom works fine, its just getting it into a position where you can actually see everything in the lens, is the tricky part. By that I mean, I have to fiddle with it for over 20 minutes so that I don't get a dark area caused by the plastic.

It was somewhat good, until somehow the base where the lens goes got ripped off the cover itself..Thats why i put 3 stars

It's a gadget. It works but in no way is it like a zoom on a real camera. Maybe the NSA would find this item more interesting but for me, it's just a silly gadget I bought. To it's credit, it does work.
