Blind Spot

This was an excellent book. It revolves around a girl who lived in a cult-like house dominated by an older woman. They are all related and the home is sealed off from the rest of the community. The girl was found catatonic and pregnant with knife wounds and her male companion was found dead from knife wounds at a rest stop. When the girl is taken to the hospital, no one could get her to speak, but she spoke to another patient who is mentally challenged. No one would believe him when he said she could talk. Eventually we found out that another woman who was totally in love with and mesmerized by the dead boyfriend is a nurse and extorts her way into a job at the same hospital so she could kidnap the girl believing that the baby she was carrying was hers and the dead boyfriend.This book was terrific!

Blind Spot was a good read, with a strong plot, excellent characters and a suspensful story. I thought there were just about the right amount of storylines going on at the same time, not to many to cause you to lose focus on the story, but enough to keep the book flowing and not concentrating on one aspect of the plot. The ending was a little "fast" for me as the book takes a long time to get you to the end and then the end happens so quickly. I see that in many mystery writer's works so maybe that is an aspect that has to be.I would recommend the book hightly and think that Nancy Bush is a very good writer. I have read three or four of her books and have liked them all. This one did not disappoint me as to my overall satisfaction with the book.Good stuff!!DVG

I had no idea that this was part of a series and perhaps that was the reason I had some problems with the book. Started a bit slow for my taste and ended very quickly. I was able to figure out the who done it about a third of the way through the book so I had a few problems there. For me there were several unresolved secondary plot lines. Perhaps if I had known that this was a series and I had started with the first book instead of the third, things would have made more sense. I will try another of her books basically because I love her sister's books.

For some reason, this book seemed to have more to say. Sort of like you know a name & can't remember it until 3 AM a week or so later. But the book never got around to the remembering, sort of beating around the bush instead. But it wasn't a bad book, and the story was intriguing. And the last appx. 25% was great! And the ending was FABULOUS!!! I just wish that the earlier portion of the book was as good as the latter....Still, it is a book worth reading, the strong ending more than compensating for the weaker beginning; you'll probably be glad to have read it.

This book deserves 5stars because it had everything. The characters were developed so well. Their reactions to danger and tragedy were believable and made the main characters, Dr.and Detective so real. SUSPENSE,mental problems, mystery and murder and a surprise ending. It was inferred that in the middle of the story Rita was the murderer of Race and his cousin. The story ends with Tash.a in That roll... I wanted to know if Rita was also a murderer. Great read. I would recommend it to friends.

It sucked. I thought I was getting a mystery. It took a long time before it piqued my interest at all. There never was any mystery. It was all strung together on crazy people acting crazy and then in the middle it turned into a 10 page bodice ripper that made me feel I was getting an instructional video in something in which I already had an advanced degree. Oh. Did I mention it was poorly written, poorly proof read and poorly fact checked?

Interesting. Moves along at a good pace. Good development of characters. Several twists on the murders and victims. I felt that the romance part was a bit contrived. All in all a good read

There was so much packed into this book, there was no way I could put it down! Great reading and ending.

Not my favourite by the author but it's still a good twisty suspense with characters who don't exhibit straightforward motives.

This kept me hooked from start to end.At times I felt I was in the hospital viewing all that was happening!

A very interesting story with a lot of odd characters. There were some oddly supernatural seeming elements that did not seem to fit the general tenor of the story. Overall, a good story.

This was a fantastic book. Lots of mind play and interesting characters. With a look into the human mind and its flaws.
