Blue The Pop Universal Pop Filter

This filter is great! It looks classy, works very well, sounds good, and is very sturdy. As with all Blue products the quality is great, and it works perfectly with my Blue Yeti mic. People have been complaining about how it doesn't attach to the yeti, but that is false. Blue expects you to be using this with a mic stand, so it doesn't fit EASILY on the Yeti. However, it is also intended to clamp onto the Yeti's frame. I wouldn't do this though, because it can scratch up your frame when you tighten it. I prefer a different method, the one shown in this video: [...] This method attaches the filter to your mic in the most sturdy way possible, and you don't have to scratch or modify anything. You even end up with a spare part. So I recommend this for anyone who needs a nice filter, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with a Yeti. If you are doing any voice work with your Yeti, you will need a pop filter, and nothing else will work and look this good. If you have 30ish bucks to spare, pick this up!

This is a high quality metal pop filter which does exactly what you could expect from it. This pop filter is a hundred times better than a DIY pantyhose/clothes hanger contraption and ten times better than your average guitar center bargain pop filter. The biggest issue I can see is that the gooseneck FEELS loose. It has not yet actually been a problem, it just seems to have a little more give than I was expecting, but does not droop or sag. As it gets a bit of use, however, the gooseneck may end up being a problem. The biggest issue people seem to have with this pop filter come only from those who buy it with BLUE's most popular budget microphone, the Yeti (or the Yeti pro). This problem is that the pop filter is designed for mic stands, not the desk mount that comes with the Yeti. This is true of every pop filter ever made, however, and is not indicative of product quality. Blue didn't make this to fit the Yeti stand. It will fit on one quite easily if you think about it, but it is not designed to. If you look at the main picture of the item, you will see its intended use: Attached to a mic stand, either a floor or a table mount will do. The clip is universal. Also of note, it was much larger than I though it was going to be. This thing easily shields the entirety of the oversize yeti microphones, and should work well with anything you use it with. I wanted this because I liked the look. Not only is it not practical, but very hard to connect AND it keeps falling down ALL THE TIME. Such a waste of money.

This pop filter works wonders, blow as hard as you want and it will kill the air so the mic only picks up your voice. It is very classy looking and works very well. TO ALL THOSE WITH BLUE YETI COMPLAINTS, it does work with the blue yeti, there are tutorials on youtube and on blue's website on how to do so. This pop filter will work with any microphone and is made to last. Its metal also so its easier to clean compared to nylon considering over time spit does not smell pleasant.
