Bateman Laced Leather Armguard 7in. Brown

Would have given this a 5 star but Bateman got cheap and didn't use speed lacers on 3 of the lace areas. You have to thread the lace through the 2 hole punches at the wrist and the top hole punch at the forearm. What a pain, I put speed lacers on myself using 3 pennies and brass rivets. I re-dyed the leather a dark royal blue (almost black) and get all kinds of compliments. Next armguard for my grandson will be made by me.

This product is a life saver, or rather, an arm saver. I have used it at least once a day, if not more, since I got it, and I love it. I appreciated the hook design; it makes cinching up the leather strip easier. I feel like, eventually, the leather tie is going to break, but that will be because this product is so well loved.

Its a sturdy sheet of leather with a leather lace. Simple but effective. The leather string is extreamly long so you can cut it to fit any size arm. I used to have a cheep foam armguard but every time the string hit my arm the guard would bunch up and get in the way. This leather armguard stays flat and out of the way.

Good shipping and product is as advertised. The only reason I gave it three stars is that the leather is kind of thin. I had a big bruise on my arm from string slap the first day I used it. I'll save it for winter when I'm wearing a heavy coat.

Great quality and easy to attach to the forearm. It should stand the test of time and I highly recommend this product. If you shoot a traditional longbow or recurve and don't have one of these; you're in for a world of hurt!

Sturdy and protects. A little short for people with forearms measuring 11 inches, though it can be maneuver in a way to protect the right area from a bad bow release. Slides a little over time.

Our granddaughter became interested in archery. I bought this armguard for her and she likes it very well. It stays put on her arm and although she usually needs help to put it on she likes the way it protects her arm.
