Ho-hum
Took me days to figure out that to pop the lid, one has to spin the ring around the lip. There is an icon of a closed or open lock on the rim, but i didn't see it. The inner fruit holder could be longer to ensure infused water, however, i still recognized a hint of flavor just by the water flowing over the fruit as i drank. I bought 14 of these for Christmas. Mixed reactions. Some loved the idea, others were ho-hum. Not likely to repeat this purchase.

Perfect infusion bottle
I finally used the bottle when I returnedto work after the holidays and it was great! I love the factthat the lid can be locked so it can't accidentally be openedwhich is awesome. I've only used it a couple of times since Ialso have an infuser pitcher for when I'm home, but I foreseeusing it any time I head to the office, gym, or out and about.

I'll keep looking
I had such high hopes for this infuser bottle- I like the idea of the flip open one hand operation lid- WRONG- first I have to turn a ring to make sure its "unlocked" then depress the lever - and pretty hard too- so why is the lock needed? Then I can not just close it with one hand- you have to depress the cap flip holder again to close- So points away for that -Then the basket for the fruit, mint, or whatever you want to infuse your water with is not even half the size of the bottle- I would rather my water all get saturated with the flavors and not just when I tilt the bottle to drink.Next is too many pieces- the "filter" to the infuser basket could have been built in or part of the lid, this is just a separate piece of plastic that you have to handle and set on top of the basket while screwing the basket into the lid- it just sits on top- no screw threads or snap in- so it can fall off easily before you get the lid on. Then the annoying ring around the neck with a smaller ring for dangling on your belt I guess?I did like the feel of the BPA free Triton (newest buzz word for plastic) bottle- I did get this infusion water bottle at no cost for testing, inspecting and reviewing. I was not compensated and am not required to write this review. This is my experience with this product.

"Great service, got some emails from the seller with some updates along the way and the bottle is fantastic; I've only just started using it and I'm loving it! My only slight niggle is that I would prefer if the strawish-drinking part was a little bit more flush with the lid to give a nicer appearance, although that's just my preference. Also the locking mechanism is super!"

Locking lid is a great design
This is not the easiest to use infuser bottle I have tried, but that is because it has a few features that address issues that I have had with other infuser bottles - namely leaking and drinking pieces of fruit along with my water.First of all, the bottle holds 25 oz and is tall and narrow. Due to it being slim, it will fit in my cup holder in the car and a water bottle pouch on a backpack or purse. It also has a plastic loop that can be attached to a hook for carrying. The lid and infuser part is particularly well thought out. It took me a second to figure out, but there is a locking feature that keeps it from being opened accidentally. It also has a great seal at the lid over the mouthpiece, that when locked, keeps it from leaking. Inside, the infuser basket comes with a strainer that keeps me from sipping pieces of fruit or lemon seeds when drinking - which I really appreciate. I do wish the infuser basket was longer. Once I have had a little less than half of the water in the bottle, the fruit is no longer in the water and it stops infusing beyond just passing over the fruit as I drink. To sum it up, here are my pros and cons:Pros:Locking lid system is leak proofStrainer over the infuser basicBPA & Lead free plasticFits in cupholder or water bottle pouchesCons:Short infuser basketLid takes a little getting used to at firstThis is a good infuser bottle for someone who is active or needs a bottle that travels easily. The locking lid and slim design have made this my go-to bottle for when I need to leave the house.I was given this bottle complimentary in order for me to test and review.

Nice and sturdy, great infuser insert with strainer!
I really am enjoying this FlavFusion water bottle. It is BPA free, which is always a big concern for me. I love that it has a locking lid, because I am prone to accidentally pushing the button when I am carrying it around in my bag...with the lock on, I don't have to worry about spills. I have been loading this with cucumber and mint, my favorite combination so far and toting it along and it has definitely helped increase my water intake. Normally, I don't love drinking water..but this flavors it well when you allow it to infuse in the fridge all night. Perfect the next morning! This also has a screen in the infuser, so the items inside it don't come up as you are drinking. It is pretty easy to use and put together, though I will admit at first the screen placement was a bit confusing for me. It does not snap down into place, but is held down once you screw the infuser part in to the top. Pretty easy..but, hey, it was morning..it took me a minute!! I do wish the drinking straw area were shaped a bit more like a sport bottle top. My kids love to use this, but because of the size, they have a habit of spilling a bit.I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, but I would buy it again and several friends have asked where they could get one...so that's always a good sign!
