Review: Beast! - Awesome stove, took a little troubleshooting to set it up though. The instructions are useless, it says to assemble the stove as shown and only shows a sketch like image of the the complete stove, no details whatsoever. It's not hard to assemble, but the bolts that hold the top and bottom together were missing (the tape on the box was split and all of the small parts and bolts were loose in the box, so I assume they fell out in transit). The missing bolts were simply 1/4 20 so it wasn't a big deal to fix. Also the air control was completely unthreaded and about to fall out, it took a bit of finagling to get it back in place. Disregarding those things, since others might not have those issues, this thing is a BEAST. It heated up my wok to glowing red (over 1000 degrees according to my IR thermometer) in just a few seconds. Review: gas - Firepower is OK. It seems that the old goods and the price are not real.
