Review: Excellent laptop replacement - Surprisingly fast 2 in 1 tablet for the price. Runs well everything I throw at it: browsers, java-based soft, flash-based video, office (i've tried the WSP office so far), simple games. The fact that i runs well TD Ameritrade Thinkorswin was a real stunner - wasn't expecting this tablet to handle desktop trading software so well. The latest Windows update fixed the WiFi speed issues with the unit- I get 75-95 Mbps after update vs 30-40 prior to the update. Battery life is excellent IF AND ONLY IF you change Power Mode to "Battery saver". It is highly recommended as it doesn't significantly affect overall performance but improves battery life dramatically - it will last for up to 2 days if being used for light tasks. All ports work well, including HDMI and UBS-C. Cons: - case made out of plastic - speakers are weak and muffled - no back facing camera - no extra battery in the optional keyboard
Review: No Support for Defective Item - Purchased two units, Christmas gifts for granddaughters. One of them is adequate; not horrible but nothing to write home about. The other was a brick out of the box. Regularly crashes after five minutes of use, screen goes black except for a small colorful band across the top and machine emits a loud whistling noise. The only way to stop the noise is to hard boot the thing by holding the power button for an extended period. It is completely useless. A defective unit is definitely something which can happen. The major problem with Jumper is a total lack of support. I've reached out to their support team, and every other name I could get off their site, and have yet to receive a reply of any kind. The company does appear to offer support, they simply don't reply to support requests. desertcart support suggests going to the manufacturer for support, so no help there. Considering the machine is a brick at this point, I'll be replacing it with something else. I wouldn't buy another one of these units or any other Jumper product. At the end of the day, if you're looking for an entry-level, under-powered tablet with a keyboard, spend a few extra bucks and purchase something from a reputable company.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much, much better than I expected at this price!
*by C***X on May 14, 2019*

I'll admit I was pretty skeptical about this device when I purchased it. I wanted a small, lightweight portable PC for some fairly basic work (presentations and a little bit of digital signal processing). I was expecting to run into a few issues, bottlenecks or insurmountable problems, but honestly, I haven't. This thing is great! Pros: 1) Windows 10. Yikes. I can't believe I just wrote that. But actually Windows 10 isn't bad. It even has support for Linux's bash shell these days. The OS works fine with and without the keyboard and it's pretty intuitive. As much as I might prefer other operating systems (as you'd guess from my username), Windows is still essential for me (at least via dual-boot or virtual machine), as a lot of critical software I use is still only available for Windows. This is the first version of Windows that I've ever actually enjoyed using :-) 2) Responsiveness. I was expecting something slow and clunky. The processing speed lags a little if you want to do heavy calculations, but otherwise the Apollo Lake N3450 quad-core seems to be sufficient for all tasks I need. The user interface is snappy and most applications fire up very quickly. 3) Peripherals. It has a large number of ports: USB-C, USB3 (and another USB port once the keyboard is attached), charging port, 3.5 mm headphone socket, micro HDMI, micro USB and even a microSD card slot. Woohoo! 4) The SSD is expandable if you're willing to take a heat gun to it and open it up. I've not felt the need for that yet, but it's nice to know that option is there, should you need it down the road. 5) The display is very good. Crystal clear, and plenty of resolution for a screen this size. Issues/Cons: 1) Battery life. By no measure is this good. I seem to get about 2 hours' worth of use doing really basic lightweight work with the battery saver on. If you're streaming video or drawing power from the USB3 port, expect that to drop closer to only 1 hour. I don't understand the comments of 4-6 hours use. No way could I achieve that unless we're talking about 4-6 hours of just watching the machine sit there in stand-by mode (seriously, the battery does actually have an appreciable drain even in stand-by mode, so power it off if you won't be using it for a while). 2) You cannot charge it from its USB-C port. Don't even try it as there have been reports of people frying their EzPads by doing this. This is a shame, because it means you have to carry an additional wall-wart with you for charging. 3) Windows will fail to update on this machine if any USB or USB composite devices are attached when trying to upgrade. (In fairness to Jumper, this is a widespread Windows 10 issue, not a fault unique to this device.) I spent about a day beating my head against a brick wall when critical Windows updates failed to install, over and over again. Emails to Jumper went (still, to this day) unanswered. However, Google is your friend, and once I disconnected the keyboard, the updates went through without any problems. I reconnected the keyboard afterwards, and all is well. Speaking of which... 3) The keyboard is essential. Don't consider it a luxury add-on you might purchase later; you need it to run most standard Windows applications, because you just can't reach those tiny buttons and widgets with only the touch-screen. You need the keyboard touch-pad, or a least a USB mouse. Fortunately, the version with the keyboard only adds about $20. The touchpad on the keyboard could be more sensitive, but it's useable. I initially thought my keyboard hinge was broken or locked, but it wasn't - it was just very stiff (almost impossible to bend the hinge by hand unless the tablet itself is attached to give you that extra leverage). Ignore the claim in the specs of 178 degrees at the hinge - that must be a typo as mine barely goes beyond 90 - but that's fine, and the keyboard quality is quite good for the small additional price. Totally worth it. Essential, in fact. 4) Audio. It isn't great and it has poor shielding. Speaker volume is very low, and if you plug in headphones to the 3.5 mm socket, you can easily hear the electronic circuit noise in the background. If you want decent audio from this, you'll need to use a good-quality sound-card or external DAC with it. But that's true of almost all PCs and Macs anyway. At least is HAS a DAC/amp/headphone socket built in and doesn't force you to go and buy a DAC, a stupid dongle or separate set of bluetooth headphones (Apple - you deserve to crash and burn). Overall, I'd have to give this a solid thumbs-up. Every application I wanted to run on this device is installed and running perfectly. Very good value-for-money product.
