17" long custom handmade leather sheath for 10"—11" blade Bowie knife

Looks cool but it isnt. It's not leather its pulp glued together and embossed like plywood. Dry, stiff, flimsy strap. Strap looks like it has slashes on it because someone else returned it. But that's not the worst of it. The worst is there are 4 rivets and a button that will scratch the surface of your blade. I didn't dare slide my knife into into it because I knew it would come out with multiple scratches. Personally I dont care about straps on a big knife because gravity and friction will hold it in, unless I turn upside down, but the strap is on the blade side, so the blade will slice it while drawing and it is stitched in on that side and cannot pivot to the spine. I'm disappointed because I wanted to wear my new Bowie on my birthday and I cant find a decent sheath for it made of leather. This was the only sheath on Amazon for it. I would say that the stitching is very robust, but the spacer is foam rubber, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up to repeated drawings and insertion, but its probably not bad if you have a knife where you dont care about scratches, like just a tool for prepping wood. However, being patent leather and not full grain leather I don't think it can handle being out in the woods in the rain. In conclusion, it's a cheap option, but it is an option for a cheap knife when you dont have any other options.

Cheaply made third world type craftsmanship but it was the only thing I could find to fit this huge Buck Bowie knife that has a 10 &1/2 inch blade all I can say is it fit my knife sloppy and once I had the actual product it was so low quality and ugly I wouldn't wear it out of the house so I had a custom one made spent some extra bucks and threw that one in the trash now I'm smiling and if my $500 Bowie knife could talk it would tell you don't waste your 30 bucks do some homework.

I wasn't expecting a work of art for 29.99, however I was expecting "useable".... the sheath dye job is very poor and will leave stains on your hands... the stitching was already coming lose out of the package... the snap is "cheap" and not likely to hold.... You are better served looking elsewhere.

I bought this for a schrade 10” old timer I got from Walmart. It rattled around a little so I took the old timer sheath and shoved it into this one to take up the space. Works great. Looks great.

This is a big heavy duty sheath, for a big heavy duty knife. Just what I was looking for. I really like that you have the option to wear horizontally on your belt behind your back.

Fits my serrated Bowie knife perfectly! Nice and heavy duty. I'm going to order another for my other Bowie.

I ride a motorcycle. The way the knife is secured to the sheath is problematic. There is only one piece of thin leather securing the knife. It can easily fall out.

Good sheath. Works well for the large knife I have.
