Floorseal Patio Black Spot Remover Plus, 5 Litre

Very good product. I was sceptical before I bought this stuff but the pictures speak for themselves. Its a bit smelly but soon dissipates when rinsing off. Follow instructions to the letter for best results. We did and are very pleased with the results. Jet wash after using brought out patio back to new condition after 5 years of neglect.

Genuinely impressed with this product. Having tried cheaper diy store products and jet washing without success this is the first thing that actually works at removing black spot lichen. There are more expensive products out there but there's no need to pay more. Easy to apply so long as you follow instructions, but make sure you wear old clothing and rubber gloves, I applied with a trigger sprayer for accuracy. Also when contacting company direct for advice their service was excellent too. I have already purchased another 5ltrs and would highly recommend, my patio looks brand new again.

Bought to remove the black lichen spots on our sandstone patio driveway and it worked AMAZINGLY. I expected it to after having read the reviews, and I was very excited taking the before/after photos but unfortunately I can't find them so you'll just have to take my word for it!We had our indian sandstone power washed and cleaned, and the black marks left behind, along with the complete dullness of colour was really quite horrid. The combination of using this black spot remover and then re-sealing with a wetlook sealer has made a world of difference, and it looks (nearly) as good as it did when it was done.Highly recommended!

I bought the much more expensive Patio Black Spot Remover last year and was amazed to find something that actually worked to turn my Yorkstone paving back from black to it’s natural colours. However it was so expensive that I could only afford to do a third of my large terrace.I tried this product with little expectation that it would be as good, but it really is!It smelt strongly of bleach when applied and as I’d already tried bleach I had little hope. My sandstone had some whitish deposits initially and just generally looked a bit less mellow than with the other product but it did do a very good job at removing the lichens. Within a week or two however I couldn’t tell any difference between the two differently treated areas.These are both excellent products for restoring old sandstone, but this Floorseal product is much better value. Just do it a couple of weeks before you want to really show off your restored patio.

I purchased this product to clean the patio in my garden and, because of the fantastic result, purchased another 5 litres for my friend's patio. Both are Indian sandstone. To apply the product, I used a spray I had for weed killer. It turned out to be ideal. There was a noticeable reaction immediately. It was easy to follow where I had sprayed the product because of this. I followed the instructions pretty much to the letter and was very impressed with the results. It may be my imagination, but the patio seemed to get brighter over the next few days. Apart from really ingrained black spot (which a very minimal amount remained) the patio looks almost as good as when it was laid. The photographs show the before and after, immediately after power washing on the day.

There are other products on the market that's supposed to clean patios, available from most garden centres. They're cheaper, but next to useless.Although the price of this product initially seemed high, you then realize that it is for 5 litres.I used it on two good sized paths, and was amazed at the result, they looked like new!. As recommended, I pressure washed it and, when dry, applied a sealant. Hopefully, it will continue to look good for a good long time.We have an old patio which looks in a sorry state, so I've ordered some more.

It definitely works but I'm not sure that it isn't just strong bleach! My slabs were covered in black spot and now aren't. I would say that you do have to follow the instructions carefully. It says to leave up to 2 hours for stubborn spots and the test slab that I did definitely needed 2hrs. Unfortunately due to poor timing on my part the rest of the patio only got an hour and a half. It needs to be kept wet during that time so if any spots start drying up just re-spray. I'm thrilled with the results.

I had some very tough black spots on my patio. The first application got rid of 95% of the lichen and then the second removed it all. We were quoted £3k to get new patio, so this just saved me a small fortune.My only regret was not buying 20litres and storing the spare for the future.The 5litres did about 20sqm as my patio was so bad. When I went to order more it was out of stock for 6 weeks. I instead got some sodium hypochlorite and made my own solution. Although that worked ok, it was nowhere near as effective as this product (thankfully it was the hidden patio area so I wasn't as bothered about it being as sparkling). You can see this stuff foam and work almost instantly. It's also nowhere near as potent as pure sodium hypochlorite, so it seemed safer.I also bought the patio seal, which is also a great product.
