Piece of junk
I was wondering why something that barely works had such amazing reviews, then I received a bribery letter in the mail. Leave a positive review screen shot it and receive a $10 gift card. This thing barley works. I got it to train my dog from barking and it will only send a shock to the collar every 100th time I press the button maybe not even that often. The vibration works ok and so does the sound but it does not get my dogs attention. I read the manual I’ve used it exactly how it’s supposed to be used. It’s a piece of junk don’t waste your money. Also bribing for reviews has to be illegal?

It works very well if used right.
This item worked well, you need to start training by triggering sound FIRST, vibration SECOND then LAST shock from the start of training (which you should anyhow), it seems to offer some incentive, I used it on myself and THE SHOCK ALONE just doesn't seem like it would be enough of a detterant for training purposes, BUT the sound and vibration does. He came to understand sound first, vibration second, and shock last, so usually I don't have to go past vibration for him to listen now. He has stopped barking continuously at neighbors, cars and knocks.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!!
I can't talk you how much I love this trainer...I have a very hyper chihuahua/shi tsu mix and I can never get her to "come, stay or walk beside me (with or without a leash) and with the very first time I used this, she was obeying every command! It's unbelievable!!! I read some other reviews where owners mentioned they only needed to used the beep or vibrate, and they were right! No need to use the simulation at all! I HIGHLY recommend this very product if you're interested in training your dogs of any age or size. The one thing I would like to suggest is, if they make two different colors. I love the blue for my boy and would be great if I had a pink one for my girl. I bought 2 and had to put pink stickers on the collar/receiver, and transmitter so I know which collar goes with which transmitter and for which dog. There's 2 different collars in each box, 1 buckle, and 1 quick release. I don't like the buckle, so I used the quick release for both dogs.

Easy functionality, good feel
I have tried multiple collars with my new puppy. THIS IS MY FAVORITE ONE! First, the collar is made out of a durable fabric much like back pack straps. It has plenty of extra length for big dogs and is easily adjustable. It stays snug. I also like the size of the remote. It is larger than a lot of others so it's easier to keep track of and the functions are readily accessible. It also has a manual wheel to adjust strength of the three modes which I prefer. Overall I recommend this product and babe already seen the benefits with my own puppy.

Best collar we've had yet, Until it wasn't, don't waste your money!
UPDATE:We have had this for a few months and the cord stopped working, so reached out to the seller asking if I could simply buy a new cord or if they would replace it, they never responded and that was probably 2 weeks ago. I've tried to use it, seems like the similar charger for a different product works for them both, except now they dont work at all. Dont waste your money, it was great when it worked, I should have known that if the charge cord was going to crap out on me so fast that everything else would too.ORIGINAL:This product is not only dummy friendly but most importantly dog friendly. Often times the levels of correction are light medium and high, this allows for more "wiggle room" so to speak so you can find what your dog responds to!

It does what it says it does!
GREAT buy for the money spent!! My Shih Tzu Eddie is losing his sight and has been freaking out lately. Fast forward two weeks, and a VERY angry neighbor walked over to yell at my dog and then me...LOL. Needless to say, I didn't want to buy this collar, but his constant barking was getting on my nerves also. Now, I just have to give him a warning with a beep first, then a vibration if he doesn't stop, and finally with a low zap. We are ALL living in peace now. He rarely requires the zap. Now if I could just get that SAME neighbor's dog to stop pooping in my yard, life would be gravy. Isn't life grand?? :pUpdate*** As of 10/1/2020, the collar has stopped working. Will be contacting the seller to see if I can get a different one or a refund. Worked great for the first 40 days, but now, nothing!!

Terrible range, illogical layout
I knew when I bought this that the buttons are arranged poorly: The shock button, which you should almost never need (or use) is the biggest and in the center. More logically, the buttons should be arranged in the progression in which they're most commonly used: beep - vibrate - shock. (After your dog gets 1 or 2 shocks, the beep and vibrate will be all you need.) But more importantly, the range on this device is waaaaaay less than advertised. Out on the open flat beach, with no obstructions, I was getting about 100 feet (or 30 meters). For this reason alone, I'm returning it. I mean, the price is great, but what use is a training collar with such a short range?
