In my case, a great replacement. I was worried about "needle bounce" but have experienced none. excellent fit and works properly. no issues. 1966 CJ6

The speedometer bounces continuously, fuel gauge doesn’t go above 3/4, temp gauge has no accuracy, and the whole unit sets crooked when bolted in the dash! Worst quality ever!

Installed into a 1976 CJ5 restoration. Fits perfect and all gauges work perfectly.

This fit my 1979 CJ-5. The Bezel fit nicely into the opening. It was tight on the screw posts but my posts were not exactly straight. The lower indicator lights didn't match my original but I haven't found a replacement one that did match.The gauge face was wobbly and loose on arrival.The speedometer failed the bench test and wouldn't move. I noticed that the screws for the gauge face were not screwed in completely and they were blocking the needle from moving. I took off the glass and screwed in the tiny black screws.After my repair, the face was no longer wobbly and the speedometer registered speed. The needle does bounce about +/- 5mph. This could be attributed to cable binding that I haven't tested yet.I shouldn't have had to make repairs to a new unit right out of the box. I did give it some stars because it was the only thing I could find under $500 and it does have an original appearance.

Looks great installed easily but the needle jumps while driving.

This works great and instructions were easy to follow. I can't get the thermometer to work but this problem is most likely due to my wiring or installation and not a product flaw as everything else has worked great.

Very nice looking and easy to see. Works with 74 cj5 wiring harness like a glove.
