Maple Wood Veneer Edge Banding Preglued 7/8" X 250' Roll

Banding is pieced together with a finger joint every three feet making it unusable for large cabinet. Nowhere in the description is this mentioned. I won't be buying this again.

I’ve used both better and worse. This sticks well and doesn’t take too long to melt in. It leaves a moderate amount of over-glue along the edges. Too little over-glue and you have to worry that the edges will come loose. But the more over-glue there is, the more gummed up your edge slicer will become. This strikes a good balance.

This has to be the worst edge banding I have ever bought! There are seams every 5 ft. and it is not straight. It won't even lay evenly across a 3 ft shelf. The roll is damaged for the first 6-7 ft. Th color is off and it is wafer thin. I literally threw it out after only using about 6 ft. Total waste of money.

Very poorly glued on backing. Grain direction not parallel with roll. Material is not sanded but that's not a major problem. I have used a lot of edge banding and still do, however this brand has to be the most difficult to work with that I have tried. Will not purchase again.

Inconsistent size and thickness. In the middle of a 250ft roll the color and size and character of the maple wood changed from beautiful maple to a yellow characterless wood that looked more like pineSeveral of the finger joints came apart during finish sandingAdhesion was great but if your using true 3/4 width wood...... beware this stuff leaves almost zero room for error. Probably it’s sized for 23/32 edge and not true 3/4

this roll came wrapped very loosely with the glue on the back of the veneer much thicker on one side than the other. As such it did not fit well in my edge bander and kept coming undone as I was using it. Once down, the glue seems to hold tightly and the seems in the veneer are tight.

This is a poor quality product. The finger joints are very noticeable and are not properly aligned. The band does not have a straight edge and bubbles when it is forced to follow a straight plywood edge. Sauers makes a much much better product. I will either be returning this edge banding to amazon or throwing it in the garbage can.

This pre-glued veneer installs very well and the glue is predictable and strong. The issue I have is that is seems thinner than some others I have used. When using for painted applications this results in fairly significant raised texture in some areas. My solution was some additional sanding and some sparkling after priming to even out the texture in some areas.
