I watched a couple of YouTube videos and got into it. Goodness Apple uses small screws.Following a video this took 10 minutes. Hardest part is opening the phone, be careful and you’ll be fine.Get some paper and put a strip of double sided tape on it and use it to secure the screws. That way you’ll put them back in the right holes with losing them. The kit comes with a few spare screws if you do lose one like I did!

I don’t normally write reviews but feel compelled to on this occasion. The battery in my three year old iPhone 6S was needing charging pretty much every hour. I had been building up to taking it to a store to pay to have the battery replaced. However, COVID 19 obviously means I couldn’t. I really didn’t fancy messing with it. But, I’m really glad I did. This battery is ace! I installed it yesterday, followed the charging instructions and awoke this morning to find it still on 100%! As today had gone by, normal use has seen it retain its charge. I’ve given it to my children to try and flatten it, which they can do with all electronics very quickly! But not now! The reason I had a go myself was because I watched the excellent video on you tube first. It was very clear and gave me the confidence to do it myself. The fact that the right tools come with it, is a big help! Fitting? Right, it isn’t the kind of thing I would consider to be really easy. But, if you take the time to watch the video and then be VERY careful, it is actually quite straight forward. I am delighted.

Sorry I’m trying to sorted something out on the same day I bought two batteries first one I wasn’t right it was right I ring my son he said he was right so I cancelled and then I brought it again but I don’t see any refund from the first one which I cancelled and I’ve been told the money for the first one will gone back on my bank account but still I don’t see none refund from the first battery could you please let me know what’s happening thank you

Great value for money - although I’ve only just fitted it so longevity remains to be seen.Surprisingly straightforward to fit if you have good fundamental skills in using tools, just look up the Yontex video for the 6s on YouTube and follow step by step.Very adequate tools provided even spare screws just in case you lose one - some are tiny!The one thing the video doesn’t touch on is the adhesive seal that twangs around sticking to everything if you’re not expecting it! (You can buy a kit to replace this separately).I’m delighted I can do something to resist Apple’s ridiculously rapid built-in obsolescence.

I don’t normally write reviews but this whole kit was surprisingly good so I thought I’d give it some praise.I’ve never opened up my iPhone before and I was really scared but the video on YouTube was very clear and helpful (although really fast, I had to play it at 75% speed so that I didn’t miss any details). READ THE INSTRUCTIONS TOO. The video didn’t mention the hairdryer trick but the instructions did and it really helped to remove the battery’s stickers.The pack came with load of tools, even some I didn’t need, and they even included a new screen guard (I’d advise you to take yours off first, if you have one) which I thought was very thoughtful. They really want this to work for you and clearly try to idiot proof the process but I’d still suggest you take your time and make sure you put the tiny screws you remove somewhere safe. They’re all different sizes and you have to put them back in exactly the right order or you’ll kill your motherboard. That said, they even supply a whole new set of screws in case you drop one and can’t find it (more idiot proofing).My new battery seems to be working much better than my old one but it’s only been one day; I’ll change this review if it goes wrong in the next month or so.

I had to change my screen and battery so i figured i might as well upgrade battery duration. I watched a couple of youtubes settled down and set about ripping my iphone6 S apart, turns out it was a very simple operation, the battery adhesives strips did not slide out from under the battery so i had to prize it off which was no problem, from beginning to end, screen and battery took 30 minutes. Battery is excellent, much improved battery life so if you're considering doing it yourself, It's very simple. It's useful to know that if it every happens again, I already have the tools and I know i can do it!

Purchased this battery followed all the steps have used and changed numerous iPhone batteries it’s an easy task , problem with this battery is that it only lasts up to 60% then shuts down , dies anyone know how to contact the seller to resolve the issue before I request a refund on a faulty product

The kit is well packaged and comes with every tool needed to work on the phone. The YouTube video is detailed and easy to follow and the battery swap is nice and straightforward. Still need to discharge and then do some full charges but hopefully it’ll be a big improvement on the old one!!
