The Rumford Gardener GBS2000 4 Cubic Foot Garden Collection Bag

I was surprised to see this bag for sale because my last similar bag had come from England, but now, 10 years later, the old one is in tatters. These bags offer a much easier way to work around the garden because they stand on their own and are bendable to the site you're working. They're almost like a soft ground wheelbarrow, moving things distances around the yard, like piles of weeds or compost, but I especially love them when I'm weeding close to the ground and can toss the seedy weeds directly into the bag without first making a pile on the soil or path. I'd give this bag 5 stars but I'm not yet certain of the durability.

Bought it years ago and still use it all the time. Holds a lot. Instead of picking it up, dragged it across the grass once when it was full and that was too much for the strength of the fabric and tore it a little. Still love it.

I've had a variety of bags like this over the years. I'm pretty hard on them and eventually rip the handles off. This bag is sturdier than the previous bags I've purchased and I don't see this being an issue anytime soon. I know that some of the other reviewers mentioned they had a hard time keeping it open while they put waste into it, this hasn't been an issue for me. Maybe if you are putting huge handfuls of leaves it might be a problem for the first handful, but I can easily get it to stand while I toss my weeds and yard waste into it. I love the fact that when I'm done it folds up into a small flat square that I can store just about anywhere.

Not a particularly useful bag. The picture makes it look like it has a flat bottom but it does not. The bottom actually is diamond shaped and it pushes pointy side down. Try making that kind of a bag stand nicely while you try to fill it.To its qualities it is well stitched. It is a charming green. It has nice handles. But it works much better as a shelf ornament than a trash carrying bin.

the bag is just right for when i trim the hedge and other plants in my garden. it is easy to carry and is not heavy on its own. the only fault is that it doesn't remain open on its own until the bottom of the bag is full. other than that, it does the job

Works ok... I like my former one better that could stand up by itself... this one collapses which has its advantages for storage... but product works good enough..

Had a little bit larger round bag of similar construction and material that I used for several years until it finally wore out. This one seems to be a great replacement. It's easier to store also. Folds neatly and hangs on the wall. Very convenient. Sure beats lugging a heavy bin around!

These are good garden bags, but very small. They would be good to use for gathering veggies on a daily basis.
