Bamboo Kungfu Tea Tray Round Table Serving Tray Chinese Style Water Storage (Round Black)

Based on a few other reviews I thought I would be getting a poor quality bamboo piece with this tray that was either damaged or cracked. The tray I received was in perfect condition and looks very nice! I have attached a photo of the tray, not by itself, but with a travel tea set that I purchased separately (tea set NOT included with tray). I used the set I purchased with this tray last night and it functioned perfectly and looks very nice. The size is perfect for taking along on outdoor adventures or for tea sessions while visiting friends or family.

I really like this set. It is a plastic base and what appears to be a bamboo top. It does exactly what I need it to. It is convenient to carry, it protects my tables from both spills and hot kettles, and it doesn't look to bad while doing it.

Unlike the round hoobar tray I purchased this one arrived without a chip in it and also catches water better. Bamboo piece isn't of the best quality, wobbles noticably and leaves significant gaps. At least there shouldn't be concern of the melamine leaking.

Used with tea pets and, after the customary pour over the little figures, the bamboo warped. Hot tea did damage to this tea tray.

I wanted this to work since its size is perfect for my tea station.However, there are a few major issues rendered this product useless:1. the bottom tray is advertised as "melamine", which should be 100% dishwasher safe (i have other melamine dishes that stood well for years in dishwasher). but the tray warped badly on the first wash. (won't sit flat anymore)so i actually bought a 2nd one (since the size is perfect for my purposes), this time, the tray warped again in 3 weeks with regular use just by taking in hot water.... seriously, this is useless as a tea tray.and advertised as dishwasher-proof melamine ? i doubt it.2. the bottom side of bamboo plate is un-treated. i.e. when it sits in tea water, mildew will build.i had to paint it with several coats of lacquer to prevent mildew.it's just vey cheaply made and lack of design-consideration.3. the bamboo plate is extremely flimsy in the middle part (since there is no support leg underneath the middle part). it cracked when a glass of water is placed on top.so i am extremely disappointed... especially on the first part of the dubious description.i think amazon/seller should refund... or show proof it's really made of melamine (who would buy a tea tray that would warp with hot water in it???)

Great potable tray for when you have tea on the go, away from home. You don't have to worry about leaving watermarks on furniture.

Item was as pictured and perfect size.

I have the white square tray. It came as expected and does the job for the price paid, would recommend to anyone just starting their tea collection!

I was so excited to receive my tea tray.... then I opened it. First off, there is no cushioning at all for your tray so good chance it'll break. Mine was broken in a way that it would leak and the piece that broke off in another spot had shattered into tiny shards. This tray might be great IF it arrives unharmed bit I'll never know. ***1 suggestion: add styrofoam or something please***

Just when I opened my package, the tray was already broken.
