This headrest case is exactly what I was looking for and meets my needs. If you are looking for a holder that you can easily slide you iPad Air into even with a case, then this is what you need. It does seem a little complex when it comes out of the case, but once you figure out the few pieces and how they fit together, then it's not too bad. I planned on using this on the plane too, but as another reviewer mentioned, it's a little cumbersome to easily travel with it and may be difficult to use with the continuously reducing leg room. For a car case, I think this works great. The velcro band stays put very well and this mounts higher than most DVD players, so my toddler can't keep kicking it with her feet! We are going to purchase a 2nd one, as they are best if you plan to leave in the car and not move around often.

I had no idea that this would be so bulky and clumsy to pack and carry to use in a plane. Maybe good for a car where it stays for a long time, but the several different large pieces completely covered in velcro and the bulky holder make it a bad idea for a typically cramped plane seat. I got it when we were traveling to Europe hoping it would help keep me occupied for the long flight. Nowadays even transcontinental flights have cramped quarters, and just getting all the pieces out of my carryon, wrestling it all out, then somehow trying to put them all together around the tray table without poking out your companions' eyes with your elbows, is awkward at best. I gave up after a few frustrating tries, didn't get all the pieces out together the first time, then just forgot it. Since I don't have young children and won't put it in a car, it is totally useless to me.

i love it.... my daughter loves watching her blues clues on the ipad she just turned 2 and half so we recently put her to forward facing and the ipad always fall down on her car seat between the huge gap on my suv.... i love this product because i dont have to take out the ipad from the casing ...i have the large bulky one kayscase kidbox, at first i thought it will not gonna make it but it fits.... one happy mommy here !!!! $25 dollar is kinda pricey but never beats the convenient and functionality of this product ... especially recommended for people who always rushing lol

I have an iPad 2 in a Griffith Survivor case. If I spend a few minutes adjusting the fit, this mount will hold the iPad while in the case. Because of the tightness of the fit/bulk of the case, the hole for the home button doesn't line up, but it's still usable. It holds the iPad securely and feels well made.

We have the iPad case that has the little arms and feet, and it didn't fit around the iPad with that case, however-it was great and did what it was supposed to do.

This was just what I was looking for to use with my iPad Air. I actually use it on the front of the back seat headrest as my daughter is still rear facing in her car seat. I love that the iPad can slip in and out easily so that when we stop during a trip I can pop it out and throw it in my purse. It installs easily and has held up well so far. If you need a headrest iPad holder I definitely recommend this.

This item arrived on time. But it is a challenge for my children to input their iPad airs with cases. I’m looking for something else.

Extrmely convenient for adding the iPad to the back of the seat- no need to install video nowadays just move the iPads around for movies and entertainment.. My 2 year old approves.
