The stories within have been told by his fly fishing clients and truth is often stranger than fiction. This is what sets Rusty's tales apart from many other Bigfoot books, a great deal of heart. Some are funny, heartwarming and some will make you never want to go camping again. I personally love reading about the wide variety of encounters, tales from young and old, recent and not. They are originals. Most have not shared their stories with anyone, some only with close family or friends. Rusty is often the only outsider told and he is a responsible gatekeeper, protecting the requests, often mentioned in the introductions. That respect is kept in all his books, I have all of them. The tales are told so eloquently, even reading them more than once is still enjoyable. I've also listened to the audiobooks versions (this one isn't out yet) and they are fantastic as well. Rusty Wilson has another collection of stories about Uncle Hairy, this time collected on a theme of Canadian origins. Previous readers of the Bigfoot Campfire Stories series knows what to expect. Nothing too new here, except the Canadian locations. Rusty has polished the anecdotal stories into some good first-person narratives. There is a good balance of stories, with Sasquatch being depicted as menacing, friendly, or just there in turn.

I like reading Bigfoot stories, after reading these selections I’m doing armchair squatching. Please just keep the Bigfoot stories coming!

Rusty has a talent for making the mundane exciting and hints and glimpses seem terrifying. Is Bigfoot a real being or athe result of a vivid imagination? Try any one of rusty wilson's Bigfoot adventure collections. I guarantee you'll be no closer to the answer to "is Bigfoot real" at the end than you were at the beginning but I also guarantee you will be entertained.

We always love Rusty Wilson’s writings. He is so entertaining and hilarious but he has that touch of scariness that’s over the top fun to read together.

I love rusty,s books and have bought them all over the years, he really tells a great story but I haven't plucked up the courage to read them in the woods while camping yet! This is the first I have bought on kindle and it does allow you to get a book instantly.These books would appeal to anyone with a love of the outdoors as through the many varied stories the reader is transported to the stunning wilderness of Canada's sasquatch habitat. Well done rusty and your contributors for making a dam good winter evening read, bring on the next book. Get down south and gather some skunk ape yarns!
