Hand Weight, Large

My hand width is exactly 3.5 inches and I ordered the large size. It was wearable, but definitely a little tight. Not so tight that I was terribly uncomfortable wearing it for a good 8 hours at the computer though. Another issue also with the large sized one I received was that the the velcro was sewn so that "hook" side was facing against my wrist. (I'm using on my right wrist) This might not be a problem if it was sized correctly and the velcro sides completely overlapped. But because it was a little small, there was an inch + of velcro hook rubbing against my wrist.I ordered the X-large and it's much more comfortable, and the velcro is opposite - the soft, loop side is against my wrist.That said, even the too-small one was still wearable for a solid day at the computer.Does it work for tremors? It definitely helps makes my computer mousing more accurate and less prone to errant movements. I'm not perfectly smooth, but much better. Good product!I think if it were heavier, it might be a little more effective.Also, availability in flesh colored tones would be nice.

This is well made and the design is good overall, but maybe it just doesn't weigh enough to be of value to me with my hand tremors. I saw no impact (good or bad) when wearing it. Maybe if it were 2 -3 time the weight???

My husband suffers from tremors and it does help some but it would be more helpful if it were a little heavier and could use on either hand. It was worth the money.

To help control my Essential Tremor for writing primarily (age 78). I have only used it once so far. The wrist strap just barely closes however and should be 1/2 to 3/4" longer. I am contemplating if I should return it for the extra large but it may then be too wide for the hand. I'm sure the weight itself will help.

this is a decently made hand weight that is reasonably comfortable to wear and does help quell the tremor in my hands BUT the wrist strap would only fit a skeletal wrist; it needs at least another inch

I tried to find the size chart on the listing, but couldn't, so I just guessed that I might need a large. I am an adult woman with average size hands. The finger loops on this are fine, but the wrist diameter is too small. I can attach it - it uses velcro - but just barely. The velcro then rubs against my skin and is very irritating. Being a crafty person I can fix it to make it fit and be more comfortable, but not everyone can do this. So far I think it does help some with my tremor, but it would be helpful if there was more info in the listing regarding sizing.

I have had hand tremors for several years now and it has reached the point where I cannot write most of the time, even with medication. This device is well made and fits nicely, but the effect is slight. On a good day, when my tremors are gentle, it lends an additional degree of stability that improves my writing. On a bad day it has no real effect. My advice is go ahead and try it. Very few of these devices do anything at all and this one is well made and does help a little, maybe it will do more for you.

I was recently diagnosed with essential tremors. My hands shakes when I’m writing. This weight doesn’t stop the tremors but it helps to make my handwriting legible.
