Unfortunately, they have compatibility problems. My application for these drives was to create boot media for various Windows installs. This is the first time I've come across a flash drive that doesn't work for that purpose.The first problem was that I was unable to delete the pre-made FAT32 partition from the standard Windows disk management tool. Nor was I able to mark the existing partition as "active", which is required to make it bootable. So I brought the stick to a Linux system and delete the partition. Then I was able to remove the pre-made partition. Brought it back to Windows, made an NTFS partition, put my Windows installation on it, and marked it as active (this is a procedure I've performed many times, in my IT support role, with various versions of Windows, going back to Vista when it was first possible to do this with USB media). However, the media did not boot in about four of the five systems I tried it in (some older machines and some very new machines).Short story -- there's something about this USB controller that standard Windows PCs don't like. Until and unless Silicon Power can fix that, they're useless for my purpose. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Low cost, high speed, and reliable *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2015* Wow! I am quite impressed.This drive performed notably better than my Kingston in both a benchmark and a copy test, finishing the copy from the SSD in about a third the time. Further, the Kingston became very warm when tested. The Silicon Power stayed nice and cool, and was no warmer than the computer.When I first received the drive it was giving me issues with writing. There was an issue with the format, and this took a few minutes to fix. It has been running beautifully since.The packaging was incredibly easy to open. Inside, the print for the warranty is large enough to read without a magnifying glass. Further, they had a URL image. This is much more convenient than other thumb drives.I have come to find Silicon Power is an excellent quality and low priced line, not just with this product. I have not contacted their customer service for any product issues yet, but I have been contacted by them through email to ensure my satisfaction with their products. At four stars (because of the format issue), this drive is the most disappointing SP product I have purchased. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice, Simple Flash Drive. *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2015* Nice, simple flash drive. The button is a little tricky to push when trying to close the drive, but after a few attempts you get the hang of it.
