I have another product similar to this from another manufacturer but the back of the housing slides off to keep the camera from falling out. This one relies only on the screw on the side to keep the camera in place. The rubber pad that comes with the case that is supposed to protect the camera house from the thumb screw is too thick and you can't get the Hero 7 into the case with it. The mount provided for the base of the case is not the same tolerance as the OEM from GoPro so the accessories will not fit securely. I would not recommend this product.

My hero 7 black go so stuck in this thing it was nearly impossible to push it out and it scratched the heck out of my new go pro im so upset it is way too small :(

This housing is great for attaching other accessories like lights and Vic, but the Downfall is it is hard to take out once inserted. It caused me to scuff my Go pro 7 black. Oh, yes the 52mm lens adapter is nice too, you can add on neutral density filters or circular polarizers.

Screws broke easily but the cage is well worth the money

This frame is actually really simple to use and worth the price glad I bought it

Have only used oncce but I like the feel of it, not a cheezy plastic piece
