Exceptional customer service, good collar and remote
Received this about a month ago for use with our 80 pound 7 month old lab pup, who thought outside of the house she ruled. She would not obey commands run full speed at the kids and grab things she shouldn't have and take off for a game of chase. I must say within a few days of use using mostly the tone and vibration function we had fixed the I own the yard problem. The only problem we have had to use the static correction is for the UPS Truck. Prior to the collar the Delivery guy would let her in the truck and give her a treat (I understand not that's not her fault his for teaching her if you get in the truck ill give you a treat), this eventually led to her running through the invisible fence across the road to the neighbors now after a few deliveries and static correction she isn't going full speed after the truck. The settings aren't especially difficult after a few minutes consulting the manual everything was set and ready to go. I like the ability to press the button for the function you want rather than other collars where you have to switch the mode. The lighted LED is a very nice feature as well. After about two and a half weeks the she broke the collar (the clips that hold the collar broke) by scratching with her big paws. I contacted Cujo Control's customer support via email and sent a replacement overnight. Very easy just two emails one stating the issue the other with my details for shipping the replacement. No hassle!Overall it is a very good collar (less the questionable durability of the collar clips) and is easier to use than the same equivalent collar from your big box pet store with individual buttons for each feature rather than a mode button that you have to cycle through. The handset is bright especially at night and makes using it much easier than other similar models. I think it is important to note you must set the static correction for your dog, not all dogs should get hit with the highest setting. I think the design of the collar is likely to be a future issue, simply because those clips are made from cheap plastic. If they do a modified design of the collar so that the clip issue is less likely I would give their control collar and remote 5 stars.

Great product really
Ok so this is an actual real review. I have a 110 pound Rottie female who was abused by her original owner. I've had her since she was 18months old and she is now 4. Shes gotten better with females but she still is very ancy towards males. She also has some behavior issues that I have got to calm down but not all the way. I got this collar yesterday and its amazing. First follow the directions online with initial training to get the dog used to it. Next I use mine on the side of her neck under the ears. I only gave it 4 stars because of the sleep mode feature. This is really annoying. If you could adjust this then it would be 5 stars but you cant. It sleeps to soon so when you may need it most its sleeping and you have to wake it up real quick. You wont even notice it went into sleep mode. Vibration mode is really enough, you dont need shock really. I used shock to do some food training with my kids food that falls on the floor but she did well at 4. Oh and dont just hit the button to vibrate or shock, hold it when you use it. I would recommend this to everyone. Dont get the others that have batteries make sure you get a rechargeable one like this one. It didnt leave marks on my rottie. I talked to a lady that used one and she said the marks people are talking about are from prolonged use of the shock button. Vibration works just fine but people think you can continuously electrocute skin and not leave marks. Any questions feel free to ask me.

Great Service. Wish the product was as good as the marketing and service.
Well, where to start...Pros:Relatively inexpensive...but not cheap ( in cost).Nice packaging.Quick shipment and support response.Cons:Significant quality control problems. When first received, the remote transmitter was dead. Would not respond, wouldn't charge, nothing. The directions said to use the provided screw driver to open the back and pull a "white plug" to reset. Well, there was no white plug. However the problem likely was a solder bridge or cold solder joint where the leads from the battery attach to the circuit board. Note, I did open the replacement and found the black wire attached to a leg of the speaker, on the other about an inch away from the other location.. I guess they have made an adjustment.I emailed support after registering on the web site. Vicki was responsive and answered the email the next morning. A replacement was promptly sent out.The replacement remote transmitter arrived and after charging (came pretty well charged by the way) I went to test the collar. Next problem. The test light had no light bulb in it. I think half of it was missing.Without the test bulb, I wanted to verify the static shock was working. Note, the receiver makes no noise or visible sign the static is active when the transmitter button is pressed. After seeing a tiny arc when held close to a metal edge, I concluded the static shock was working. I strapped the receiver to my leg and used the lowest setting. The static shock was noticeable but not painful (good). However it was intermittent, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Could only tell by whether I felt it.Operationally, the menu to set up the transmitter is a bit complex. Much because of the claimed ability to control two collars. There are actually three sets of programing settings. One for collar "A", another for collar "B" and one set that seems to apply if both "A&B" are selected. Changing between collars requires a setting change, as does changing any of the intensity settings for vibration or shock. I think if you ever needed to escalate the shock to regain control, you likely would not have the time (or the wits) to do this. Conclusion: save your money and wait to get something better. With the poor quality control of the product, and the numerous reports of these types of products starting to shock and buzz without activation from the transmitter, I don't want to submit my pet to that risk. After all, the pet is an important part of the family. If you do get the Cujo product, I seriously suggest never leaving the animal alone while they are wearing it. Seems like that would be a recipe for a neurotic pet and may require a trip to the Dog Whisperer.
