Leopard Geckos For Dummies Kindle Edition

Bought this, and two leopard geckos for my sister for Christmas. I work in a pet store, so I know quite a lot about them. This book is great for beginners and provides all the information you need to get started. Would definitely recommend!

Outdated husbandry information.

it's very helpful but i don't recommend sand for substrate trust me just look up leopard gecko talk on youtube she helped me alot

I read this book before I got my Leo and it really helped, it has extended links and cites other resources for you to use. Highly recommend the read if you’re looking into a leopard gecko

I found this to be extremely informative. The other did a great job of going into details to make sure this is something that you can handle. I recommend reading this if you are a first time gecko owner (definitely read before you actually purchase the gecko)

I bought this book in a panic; we acquired our Leopard Gecko by accident when she wandered into our living room. We initially planned to take her to a sanctuary, but our children fell in love with her and "Sneaky" joined the family.The closest we had previously come to keeping a lizard was watching "Walking With Dinosaurs", so clearly some urgent research was needed and this book was where I began.It has enough information to get set-up and start feeding, which was essential in the early days; Sneaky had arrived sans tail and had clearly encountered a predator prior to her arrival, so getting her settled and feeding was key to her survival after the initial visit to the vet.In summary I would say that this book is a good place to start, and the recommendations of further information in particular were invaluable.

Bought this as me and my step daughter have recently got some geckos, it neither have any real knowledge of keeping them.Here’s hoping for a good read, and a wealth of knowledge to keep them fit and healthy !

Brilliant book , the title says it all and it explains how to keep the geckos happy and more importantly alive ! In words even I , as a complete novice , can understand !!A definite requirement for all new gecko owners

Brilliant for beginners or refreshing your memory. Easy to understand.
