TMK - Tactical Mic Klip

After many types of physical activities causing my radio mic to slip off and bounce behind me, leaving my unable to utilize it, I searched for a new method and found this product. After several scuffles and two pursuits, I have yet to lose my mic again. I have used it on the front buttons of the Blauer external vest carrier, as well as my normal uniform shirt's front buttons keeping my mic at my chest, and I know it will always be there.One would obviously know that if the button gets ripped off, your mic will go with it along with this holder. What I did, just as a precaution, was reinforced the button with a few more strands of strong thread. Aside from getting cut off, I don't foresee this holder going anywhere. Have recommended it to other co-workers who also now swear by this product.

These are great. I went years without having a mic clip and I don’t know how I did it. Almost every single physical interaction I had my mic went flying. Since I’ve used the mic klip I’ve never lost my microphone. Sprinting, fighting, rolling around, climbing, etc the mic stays put. This is an officer safety must have as your mic may be your only lifeline. I lost one and felt naked for the few days I waited on another one to ship.This does seem to put a bit of stress on the button (especially my long sleeve uniform shirts, thicker fabric) but it hasn’t yet popped the button or broken it so we’ll see. My view, it’s worth it

Seems a little flimsy once you get it. I've attached my to my outer vest carrier. it was a little difficult to fit through the straps on the vest as it's really designed to go over a button on your lapel but It has held up well so far. Four stars as I would like it to be a little more robust and maybe the hook to be about an 1/8" longer but it is holding up as of now. Looks a lot classier than my cobbled together mike clip.

On multiple occasions I have reached for my radio after going hands on with a suspect and my radio was not there however the clip was still attached to my shirt so I guess it works in that regard. Due to the fact it can’t keep my mic where it needs to be when I need it the most I will be looking for a new product.

I have had the item about a month and so far have really enjoyed using it. It seems as though it will last a while. I may try other mic clips just to compare but this clip is just fine and does what it is intended for. One extremely minor thing I don't like is that my mic and the clip tends to turn sideways, the key button faces my chest, it hasn't made me accidentally key up but I just don't totally enjoy the way it looks when it does turn.

For the money it’s a good purchase. I’ve ran around with this on my collar and it doesn’t come off. It can be annoying to get it on the first few times but once it’s on it doesn’t come off. (I have had my button sewn down to make it stronger so that might also be a key factor. It’s a snug fit on the button and haven’t had any serious issues.Will update if problems ariseProduct is accurate as shown in the listing.

The idea behind the mic clip is sound and I'm sure that it would work well for normal uniform buttons but the clip design is too small for BDU buttons which are larger. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the clip because of that issue. It's very light weight and I'm sure that it would never need to be replaced. I would recommend it if you wear standard size uniform buttons but not for BDU's.

A must have for officers who wear their corded mic over their back and through the lapel on your shirt. This helps keep the mic clip clipped to this instead of your shirt. I kept myself constantly checking to make sure it wasn't coming off my shirt which it definitely got close a few times! Now I don't worry about it at all. Stays clipped to the TMK and radio mic secured to me.
