Now, in my previous review post where I discussed The Shawshank Redemption and how I didn't know about it many years ago in our other house, well different story with The Green Mile. We had this on DVD in that house and that's how I watched it endless amount of times because it's just so good and had me feeling emotional. This film has a stellar cast including Tom Hanks, David Morse, James Cromwell, Doug Hutchison, Michael Clarke Duncan, Barry Pepper, Jeffery Demunn, Sam Rockwell, and Michael Jeter who all give out a terrific performance with their roles. Just like with The Shawshank Redemption, it's a prison drama film, it's written by Stephen King, directed by the same person and it's a sad yet well made and beautiful movie that'll make you want to experience it over and over again. Go watch it.

Rented this movie after my brother recommended I watch and boy, was he right! Stephen King has a masterful way of pulling in his viewers and not letting go until the movie is over. Such a heartbreaking movie. Loved every second. A must must for sure.

The very nice boxset, picture, and sound are amazing. Warner UK have done an excellent job! This movie will stand the test of time with movies like Citizen Kane (1941) and Casablanca (1942). The Green Mile is a movie that runs for three hours, but it definitely doesn't feel like three hours, no matter how many times you have seen it!
