It feels cheap but it works as intended, a little bit heavy for a hot shoe, i usually mount it on top of my A7 III to put the phone on top to enable the face tracking for my gimbal.

These are great for sliding into T slot 4040 extrusions to mount your flashes, dslr, etc to a common rail. The flat bolt fits into the T slot with a little slop and you can run down the bottom nut to your extrusion to lock the extrusion. The second thumb screw can then be tightened to your photo device to lock it to your rail. If you order the T slot 4040 you may want to see if they have a lighter duty 4040 if you are mounting it to a tripod. If you are using this to build a photo booth out of 4040 extrusion the standard extrusion would work amazing for mounting flashes and accessories. It does have a little slop in the slot but for a cheap option it works amazing.

We use camera cages so that we can modularly configure our camera with necessary mics, lights, wireless mic receiver, field monitor, teleprompter bracket, handle grip, rods, you name it. When going modular, it's always good to have spare brackets and spare everything, including these hot shoe to tripod screw units. This is a 2-pack and very reasonably priced, so consider picking up two 2-packs!

You are probably wondering how can a simple thing like this be poor quality. I was wondering the same thing. The peace will not screw onto the screw because the hole is lopsided, so because of that it will not screw on like the others did. So I paid for two but really only have one because I am throwing the other one that is garbage away luckily I only really need it one and the other one was a backup which is now in the trash.

Not much to say about these other than stating that they are good quality and do the job. Metal construction seems solid. Thumbwheels turn easily. Bottom plate fits nicely into cold shoe. Given good treatment, I see no reason these won’t last a very long time.Jerry

Very nice product for the price. I am in the process of building a vloging rig for my GoPro Hero 5 Black out of accessories here on Amazon. One of the key items needed were a few hotshoe mounts and these worked perfectly. They tightened snuggly into the base mount and to the camera. It's nice to have a few of these extra lying around as you'll never know when you may need one and at this price you could have several for backups on hand.

There are two hot shoe mounts. One fits just fine however the second one does not and has a profile that resembles a ramp. It's thin at one end and thick on the other. Basically it is unusable. The vendor reached out and has offered to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. I'd give the vendor's customer support five stars.

I knew these would be cheap when I bought them, but figured I'd give it a shot. Go ahead and spend a few more dollars on something else, these aren't really worthwhile. Adjusting and tightening doesn't work very well unless you have a wrench.

The two plastic lips where you slot the flash in are very brittle. The first stand I tried lasted a few minutes, the second one a few seconds. The remaining two will be going in the bin as it is not worth risking an expensive flashgun dropping to the floor. If you want a flash stand look at one that's better designed than these!

Ordered these late on bank holiday Monday and they arrived next day by 3pm, good product for using with Rf603 mk 2 speed lite remote wireless. Only reason 4 stars for sturdiness is I have not used before.

These small plastic items do the job they are created for. They act as a stand if you want to stand your flashgun on a desk, and they include a metal thread underneath so that you can mount the flashgun onto a stand or tripod. Really useful.

Cheap plastic. Broke on first attempt. Would not hold weight of Speedlight. Used two more from pack they are OK. Would expect consistent performance.

Great value, great item, very happy with my purchase.
