The Flash: Green Arrow's Perfect Shot (Crossover Crisis #1) (The Flash: Crossover Crisis)

I love how this book (this trilogy really) is a different take on Crisis on Infinite Earths! This one was a terrific start! I look forward to see how this whole plays out... and how Barry gets out of this one alive!

Remember that episode in the show, where Oliver says, "You're gonna go all the way over there, you're gonna come back over here, & you're gonna get hit with an arrow", & Barry laughs & says, "No, i'm not", & Oliver laughs sarcastically, & says, "yes you are", & then Barry catches the arrow, but then he gets hit by two crossbows in the ground behind him. Ha! Classic scene!

This story takes place in a timeline where Barry never created Flashpoint so Mr Lyga has a lot of fun and mentions some ideas which I really wished he expanded upon. The main plot of the Crime Syndicate and Anti-Matter Man is probably the best thing about this book, a rich lore we see the Arrowverse characters take on powerful beings such as Ultraman and Power Ring. However what drags this novel down is the sub-plot, a mysterious bomber in Star City. It just doesn't link to the main plot at all, possibly in the sequel novel it will. However I found myself uninterested and not caring about it. Whenever I got to a chapter about the bomber I just kept hoping we'd get back to the actual Crisis event.

Loved the crossover, i liked the fact that the green arrow isn’t always the center of the plot like in the tv. Hope to read more of these stories. Easy to read also for kids!
