Love this stuff. I usually use the original well known Aztec brand, but couldn’t beat the price for 2lbs of this. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT (except it was NOT 2lbs; I weighed it when it arrived a little messy to find it was really 1.8 lbs, so 10% was missing🙄. But for the price, I didn’t complain to the seller).It’s IDENTICAL to the other stuff. Same consistency, same color, & mixes the same; this is a good thing since the other stuff is, like I said, the original “good stuff.” There’s no reason I won’t continue using this brand if it’s available for a great price.BTW: I RECOMMEND BENTONITE TO ANYONE WANTING TO PAMPER THEIR SKIN. I’m 40 yrs old with acne prone skin, & this is a life saver for pore cleansing. I use it alone with just water & apple cider vinegar, or as a base for other more involved masks. I now have about 2 dozen optional ingredients to add, such as rice flour for whitening, rose petals powder for extra softening & scent, various essential oils for advanced pore cleansing, vitamin C powder for supporting antioxidant effect, different witch hazel blends, etc etc etc.. The ideas are literally endless!!!With that being said, YES YES YES BUY THIS STUFF! It lasts forever also. One pound lasts me at last 6-8 months, so 2 pounds will be over a year’s worth. AND DONT USE ANYTHING METAL WHEN MIXING IT; the metal deactivates some of the metals in it, so stick with glass or plastic to retain the full benefits:)

Love this clay mask base. I can use water, apple cider vinegar, or hydrogen peroxide to mix to the perfect consistency. A little of this powder goes a long way, so it’s a much better value than buying premixed mask products. I generally use about a tablespoon or so of the powder, then add the liquid a little at a time to get the consistency that’s just right for my preference. I recommend using a small bowl such as a ramekin for mixing and a 1” x 1” silicon makeup spatula for easy mixing and application. Cleanup is easy, too! Simply rinse any left over product down the drain. I usually leave the mask on until it feels dry or until it’s tight. My face always feels so fresh after using it.

So excited to receive this natural product, it seemed like such a great value for the price and size...Paper package arrives and I the first thing I read is, "This product is known to cause Cancer in the State of California! Contains LEAD!" Needless to say, I haven't used it and doubt if I will. My safety and health is much too important to risk on a package of powdered clay.

No complaints...but I have learned that I like paste better than powder that needs to be combined with liquid because I'm lazy and the extra step is a disincentive for me. Recommend finding a little medicine cup that has lines on it so you can get the proportions right. Other than that it works well as a mask. Good to use 1-2 times week. No problem reactions with my skin.

I bought this product, because of a lot of good reviews. I end up having GREAT PROBLEM WITH IT.I do not know what happen may be they change the formula or getting it from another source.My skin got very irritated. When I took this stuff off, my skin was glowing red and it hurt. I was afraid I am going to havescars after this experience.This product did not help my skin at all. Furthermore it actually made my skin a lot worse. I also feel like this has done the complete opposite of reducing the redness.Then I done some reading about different clays on line. I had to do that before.Turn out that it's Sodium Bentonite Clay. This clay used for plugging holes in the ground and ponds, and used to make kitty litter clump. It is not recommended for cosmetic use. Calcium bentonite is for beauty and is edible. I did see that it says Sodium not Calcium but I did not know the difference. This is why I am putting this review for people to know and not buy this product for any beauty use.Sodium bentonite is for industrial use and calcium bentonite for cosmetic use.Seller advertise this product as ORGANIC NATURAL SODIUM, CALCIUM FACIAL POWDERAS.What it is? sodium or calcium or it's mix? Anyway if it's has sodium it's not for cosmetic use.IN MY OPINION IT'S THE BEST TO FOLLOW RECOMMENDATION. EVEN IF IT WORKS NOW THINK ABOUT LONG TERMS.AFTER A WHILE BIG PROBLEMS MIGHT APPEAR WITH PERSON HEALTH !!!

I tried this product for the first time.  After I used it, all my pores opened up, red like a rash. The morning after using this product, I ended up with small bumps all over my face and the skin around my lips almost feel sunburned. On top of everything it made my face very dry. It took all my natural moisture out of my skin.I saw that somebody put a negative review for this product recently. I wish they put it sooner. Then I would read it not buy this product. In this review the person said that sodium bentonite not for cosmetic use. It's for industrial use.I looked it up online and its true. If I knew this before I would have never used this product. Now Im worried what LONG TERMS SIDE EFFECTS I COULD HAVE!!!

This mask clay leave my skin so soft and clean, however I notice I start to have little red bums on my forehead and cheeks after using it. I follow the instruction as mention to mix with liquid and apply on face then wash out.However, it also happen to my mom and friend skins too. Maybe we are somewhat allergic to it or our skin is too sensitive toward this product. Since we use other brand clay masks before but it didn’t happen.

Awesome results, soft and fresh feeling skin. I mix equal parts of organic apple cider vinegar together with the clay, for a really deep cleanse. I wish I knew about this stuff years ago.
