Office 2019 Home and Student | Product Key Card | Retail Box USA | Compatible with Mac / Windows

This is NOT what I wanted. I need to be able to work offline and save documents to my hard drive. This only works online and only saves to Microsoft's cloud

Item defective, not able to activate on my computer. Apparently this often happens with Office 2019. When I pointed out the problem to Amazon I was taken care of at once. I was issued a return address label and within just a few days I had a credit back for my purchase. Thank you Amazon!!!I went ahead and purchased Office 365 and that works like a charm!

We received the down load instructions and product key. We then down loaded it and the licensing worked without a hitch. Regarding saving files to your computer’s hard drive, on our Mac when selecting save, it defaults to the online storage and must be redirected back to the hard drive for the first time you save a document.

I originally ordered another WORD program to install on my MacBookPro, but the vendor who provided it to Amazon to sell didn't bother to include any directions to authorize its use. I had to return it to Amazon. That is absolutely unacceptable. I had no way of contacting the vendor to get an authorization code. I don't know why Amazon would even sell such a product.This WORD was fairly easy to install and get authorized for use. It is a newer version of WORD than the one from my old PC, so I'm still exploring new features. All-in-all, I'm happy with it, and so relieved to finally have a document-creating program that does what I need. Unfortunately, Apple's word processing program, Pages, is not very useful to the average user.

I tried to install and received a message that unable to install because my firewall/malware wasn’t working. I contacted seller who told me to contact Microsoft which I did. Spoke with someone who managed without me giving info about my computer to access my computer. Told me my computer was corrupted. Told me there was different price plans to assist in removing the virus etc. I foolishly gave them credit card number because since I was the one who called Microsoft support I thought that they were going to assist me not try to rip me off.Hubby came home and checked and told there is no virus.I contacted Apple and they did various tests and also said my computer does not have a virus.I’m not blaming the seller but since I did contact them and was told to call Microsoft support which I did only to almost be conned.

This product is an update to Microsoft Office 2011. It is slower than 2011 but needed for compatibility reasons alone.

Initially, I was not successful loading this software to my computer. After spending several hours in communication with both Amazon and Microsoft, it was determined that the code had not been authenticated by the seller and therefore, I could not load it. Amazon is sending me a new card. We will see if that one works! If it doesn't, I will be returning it for a refund. Update: The second card worked.

Why would Amazon allow this to be sold if there is a previous complaint with the same issue? I hope to have this resolved soon, I need to have this program!
