Unstable fastening bolts
I purchased this product after training my son to use a miniature version of the toilet, so take that into account when reading my review. One of the reasons I used a miniature toilet was because my son seemed really hesitant to use the adult-size toilet, so I had to find something on his level before I bought this.Once he was relatively comfortable in going to the bathroom independently, I put the small toilet away and brought this out for him to try.Being Visually Impaired, the colors (green, blue, and white) are bright and I appreciate that it's easy for him to navigate. The stairs are green and the handles are blue / white, which is great for contrasting. I cannot begin to express just how amazing that is for my family; finding products that are easy to see and use can be a real challenge, but this company did an amazing job. This product was easy to assemble and is easy to fold up. My son uses it independently every day now and he's 3.5 years old.Note: if you found this review to be helpful, please indicate that by clicking the "helpful" button.UPDATE #1: If you're like me and don't leave this product on the toilet 24/7, you're going to need to tighten the white "bolts" on the side from time to time. Apparently, with frequent closing and opening, the bolts loosen up. This has only happened once so far since I've owned this product, but I imagine it won't be the last time.UPDATE #2 (March 2021): The bolts became a problem after several months of use. On a fairly frequently basis, I was tightening the bolts in order to keep the stairs together. The bolts even came out a few times and that's just not a concern I wanted to have whenever my child was using it. Ultimately, the bolts were the demise of this product and is no longer in use in our household. I got rid of it. I can no longer recommend this product to others because those bolts are just not stable.

Better than a training potty!!!!
The only downside, it’s too comfortable for my tot! He will sit on this for as long as it takes (longer if it’s bedtime). We just got this seat so I can’t vouch for the long term durability but it seems well made and was super easy to put together. Everything is plastic and I came with a little plastic “screwdriver” so my tot got to help put together his seat.As soon as we got it together we set it up on the potty and my tot exclaimed “it’s just my size” and marched up and sat down. This is soooooo much better than dumping and rinsing a little training potty. We started with one of those and I wish we had gotten this first.

Great for transitioning to the actual toilet
We used these stairs on the toilet to transition my away son from my using the training potty that we had to dump into the toilet and clean. It worked like a charm. It’s sturdy and my son can climb up and down onto it himself. We have had this seat and been using it for 4 months now and are happy with it and will continue to use it with our second child. We have a comfort height oval toilet seat and it works great. Just make sure to lift the toilet seat so the training seat directs urine down the bowl. If we leave the adult seat down and place the training seat over it, when my son urinates it gets between the seat And bowl and leaks through.

Nice
It seems sturdy and the seat is comfy. Only down side is the seat itself is a little too big for my 2 yr old.

Good quality and sturdy
Overall I really like this potty chair. It’s dirty and my son who is almost 40 pounds, has no problem getting on and off with it. I also think that the splashguard is a good size especially compared to other potties I’ve tried that I had to return because they weren’t high enough. I think the only thing I don’t really like about it is the color! But it was worth it to get a good potty and it was very easy to assemble

Safe and comfortable!
This toilet seat is a lifesaver! My 3 year old started potty training at 1.5 years old and didn't want to use a "potty seat", but I had a little stool for her and she fell off, so we got her this. It's been a game changer. She's now 3 but has been able to use the bathroom on her own since she was 2.5 years old with this seat. I was afraid that it would be wobbly, but it stays in really steadily (no wobbling). It's also light enough for her or any of my other kids to remove and just lean against the wall when it's not in use. It folds almost flat. I just love that I don't have to worry about her toppling over when wiping herself. It's worth every penny. Skip the little potty seats and just get this!

Great but needs guard for little boys
Excellent for potty training! Only note is the guard for little boys has a tendency to leak between seat and toilet. We added one of those silicone soft guards( from another toddler seat) that drops lower below the rim to solve this issue.

Don't Trust Description!
Product does not match 2 very important details in the description:-Stated for ages 1-7, but the hole is way too big for my average sized (based on height/weight percentile given by his pediatrician) 2 year old. He almost fell in.-Stated as safe, but it does not secure AT ALL to the toilet. The whole thing wobbled and shifted all over the place the entire time my son tried using this. His father thinks it will be better when he's older, so we are keeping it. I really hope that experience didn't terrify my son too much from potty training.
