Frost Blanket for Plant Cover & Winter Protection 10' X 12' - 3 Pack by Growers Solution

These are extremely thin frost cloths, not frost "blankets". While they got us through our first very mild freeze, I am not confident that they will offer much protection for temperatures in the 20's, let alone anything colder. The material is soooo thin! It tears easily. Even worse: The material is so thin, it is very difficult to manipulate it around a plant or lay over a garden if there is the slightest breeze. With a 10-12mph wind, it was a test of patience for four hands to lay one sheet over a small winter garden. Then we had to anchor with rocks.Not happy with these. We have never seen frost cloths so thin.

Affordable and they save my citrus trees when temps go below freezing. We don't get snow, but the 20s for a few days will definitely cause damage. I leave them on for 2 to 3 months or so. I wish I had a good system for holding them on in the wind. Clothes pins don't hold. This year was the best when I tied the corners to the tree and pinned down where I could.

Very light weight. (Reminds me of using interfacing/Stitch witchery when I sew.) in windy conditions this needs to be tied or anchored down Seems to have done the job ok. I did not lose any plants.

When comparing these to the supposedly similar ones I bought from Gardener's Supply Company a few years ago, they don't measure up. They are much thinner and did not withstand weather or UV rays very well. In fact, they barely made it through one (mild) winter growing season, with no snow or ice to speak of. I would not purchase these again. Although I paid nearly twice the prices for blankets from Gardener's Supply, they lasted three winter growing seasons.

This is a wonderful product. Our plants have survived temperatures as low as 12 degrees, and when it's been cold and raining, we've left the cover on and observed that the rain goes through,later the sun goes through, but the frost is repelled. Some of our lavender and Breath of Heaven are flowering right now (it's January). We're so glad we have it.

Sturdy, yet lets sun in. Seems to be holding up to the the winds (15-30mph) also, well at least so far.

Smaller than expected but it works great for protecting plants in Arizona when an occasional frost occurs.
