When failure is not an option
These are the best battery cut off switches that you can get. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. They're easy switches for dumb people to operate. Just teach them first. You can mount it wherever you want, and control it from wherever you want. I use these on ambulances and custom projects.

FJ Cruiser dual battery with Warn Zeon winch
Purchased November of 2012. Works perfecrly everytime. Installed under the hood of my FJ Cruiser as a remote power cut off to my Warn Zeon Winch. Remotely allows power to winch. Shuts down power to winch when not in use. Only allows power to be used from deep cycle yellow top optima battery, not the red top starting optima. Ensures I can start the vehicle even if I completely drain the yellow top.

Excellent hi amp power disconnect
Premium quality and designed high amperage remote power switch. I used one for 500 amp winch power disconnect, one for 2000 watt inverter power disconnect and another for a 350 amp front bumper power take off/jumper power pole outlet

Works great on a 48v battery and the coil operated from a 12v battery.
I use this latching relay to connect/disconnect my 48v lithium battery to my boat’s electric propulsion system. It is driven by the battery management system from the 48v battery. The BMS is powered by the boat’s 12v house bank, so the coil of the switch needs to be the 12v version. The remote button still operates and is not impacted by the BMS connection.

Dann mal eine Rezension auf deutsch. Kann diese Batterieschalter nur empfehlen. Sie funktionieren einwandfrei und sparen lange Kabelwege und dadurch Leistungsverluste, da grosser Querschnitt nur bis zum Relais verlegt werden muss, dass nahe der Batterie montiert wird. Der Rest läuft über eine einfache Steuerleitung bis zum Schalter. Der Preis bei diesem Anbieter ist top und liegt weit unter dem üblichen Marktpreis. Er schwankt allerdings stark. Habe zwei für 149,-€/Stck. erstanden.

The remote battery disconnect is very well made. It takes a bit of thinking to understand how it works, but nothing that complicated . I found a YouTube video that I found helpful
